Another Apple deal this time for a 17" Macbook Pro.

Appears to be a mid-2007 model (says it got Tiger installed).

# Was £1,798.00 - but not any more! Was £1,698.00 - but not any more!
# Now
£1,299.00
# 1299 Clubcard points

Cheapest I can find an equivalent was on the Apple Refurb store for £1479 although this would come with Leopard (OSX 10.5.x)

Free delivery to your local store otherwise £4.95 p&p.

Various vouchers and quidco possibly too and extra cubcard points if you've got a Tesco credit card.

Very good deal for an Apple especially since the current version hasn't been improved by much. Voted Hot.

And £500 cheaper than the Apple shop. Looks good.

Don't just vote cold without giving a valid reason and 'cos it's an Apple and it's expensive compared to Dell and other PCs.

If you're after an Apple or an MBP it's a cracking deal IMHO

decent deal. shame it doesnt come with leopard or the ilife 08 suite.

also i did read the other day that the fastest laptop to run vista on was an apple ;)

Very much prefer my mac to my pc. Highly recommended for anyone that isnt arsed about PC gaming and has a console for instance.

Had my first experience of a MAC the other day and thought I must have mistakenly entered the Fisher Price store :-D

Edit........voted hot based on the fact that if folk want one it's a decent price I spose.
#7
Cheaper than everywhere else so hot.

in my experience and a few others that Dixon Tax Free in fact sells the older models of Macs. which very easily giving the wrong impression while you are at the airport that it's a bargain (comparing to the current model).

just need to make sure before buying.

Hi, Did anyone print or screen grab the description from the tesco website ? I managed to order one and think they sent the wrong resolution 'cos I'm sure it said it was the 1920*1200 Hi Def screen.

Thanks,
Neil
