Looks good externally, & the specs aren't too bad (especially the CPU), but only an ordinary graphics card in there - was expecting something better for a 'gaming' laptop.

For the same price, I'd rather much go in for something like a Acer Aspire AS6530G, with about an equivalent graphics card - but, double the RAM, a Blu-Ray drive & a larger hard drive. The CPU is probably nowhere as good in this, but with the added RAM will one really notice for what the laptop is going to be used?

Computerman, are you specifically looking for a gaming laptop?

if your looking for a budget "gaming" laptop then i brought this http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/-/654/861/-/5890835/Hewlett-Packard-Pavilion-DV7-1000EA-Core-2-Duo-P7350-2GHz-4GB-320GB-17-Blu-Ray-Vista-Home-Premium-Laptop-Notebook-Includes-100/Product.html?searchtype=genre at one point you could get for £630 with play 5% and hp's cash back offer, it is not a sale at the moment but sure some other website might have a couple knocking about. I would persoanlly say it better than either of these 2 machines and a much better brand than acer but it is only a good laptop if you can get it at the right price like i did.

Only issue is it has a smaller Screen and its Acer. not know to be the best built. The Screen res isnt as good but a perk is the Blu Ray and the Extra on HD, but Ram is so cheap now...

Like I said you have to get it at the right price and wll probably take some shopping around, I got the machine for £670 and another member contacted me to tell me that they had cancelled there order for a sony machine after they saw me recommend on another deal and got this instead and managed to get it for £630.

Would not pay anywhere close to the amazon price for it myself but it is a good machine. The fujitsu machine i can not see be that costly, looks nice but has pretty terrible graphics and a small screen, plus i do not like fujitsu machine, use to call them fushitsu where i use to work

Sorry i stand corrected on my previous point then, i completly missed that fact that it comes with the external graphics box, will probably make it a bit more costly then.
