Got one of these last christmas off some shopping channel.

What a load of ****.

You get about one good jump out of it and then it dies. The compressor takes forever and a day.

Don't waste your money.
Good price and handy for kids bikes, in the boot etc but jump starting will kill its battery very quickly, pity.
Poor quality battery, and no staying power. I've been given two of these over the past year and neither has lasted more than a few weeks.
If it's the one in the picture (OP) then it's hopeless.

HOWEVER, if it's as the one in the Netto brochure, then it has an ON/OFF switch and a correspondingly better internal battery. I have both types, and the switchable version is far far superior.
chucked one of these in the bin, not even enought power to jump a toy car let alone a real one, as above compressor takes for ever and then over heats - dont even think about using it to blow up an air bed if your into keep fit and a footballer then maybe ok for you. get a good workout lugging the piece of junk about and the only thing i ever managed to blow up with it was a football
Confirm all the above. I had two of those and both lasted about 4 to 5 jump starts, then batteries died. Have now a second battery with a charger on standby and a separate tyre pump, a much better solution.
I would never bother with one of these again, I just use a standard battery charger now. OK it takes about 12 hrs to charge, but it puts the life back into the battery properly.

Cold afraid.
