£180 Off and 2 Free 360 Games!!! Pioneer HTP-GS1 Xbox 360 Surround Sound System £149.99
Play.com are currently offering the Pioneer HTP-GS1 Xbox 360 Surround Sound System for £149.99. The actual RRP for this surround sound set is £329.99 and the cheapest I've seen it elsewhere is about £240.
That said, it is currently showing as 'out of stock' but so it was on Sunday when I placed my order, and I received notification today that it has shipped so they are obviously still getting stock in.
In addition, Pioneer are running a promotional offer. Two XBox 360 games will be sent to you free of charge with Proof Of Purchase of this set before 31/01/2007 (the games are Burnout Revenge and Need For Speed : Most Wanted). The following link will take you to the form that needs to be completed and returned ...

Pioneer are very quick at sending the free games out to you as well and I ended up selling Burnout on ebay for £22 as I already had it
Here is mine setup when I first got it but have now moved things around

From memory you had to purchase the system by the end of January and Pioneer had to receive your form by the end of February so that you qualify for the games so you should have time if they have it in stock
Double check the Pioneer site but am sure it is the end of Feb which is the deadline for the games offer and the deadline of the end of Jan was to purchase it
I actually own one of these and it's fantastic! The controller works very well with the Xbox. Perfect if you dont already have one and the bonus of being able to control the volume too. The bass is very strong and it's armed 600watts of power. A pure bargain with the free delivery. The speakers dont feel very solid, but the Sub is well made (If a little too big)
The connectivity is great too; I have my optical cable from my xbox, my Sky+ box (optical too), and my Wii (Standard white and reds) all plugged in and can be switched with a push of a button.
The only downside ive found with this is the volume tends vary. For example, you'd have the volume fairly high for quiet moments/talking parts of a film, then all of a sudden action would begin with no notice and ive woken up all my neighbours! Hence I now keep the controller with me (sometimes i even have to hold it just incase!) so as not to disturb.
Explosions, gun fire, music and engine noise all sound brilliant on this. And if you live in the middle of a large field with no neighbours I couldnt recommend this enough!
Sound quality is excellent and does indeed come with an optical cable.
Although the website does not mention that Play.com is an authorised dealer,Pioneer will honour the deal and I received my 2 free games after the Xmas rush was over. Also,Pioneer sent back my Play.com receipt.
A fantastic bargain.
As mentioned above, it has all the connection cables required, quite long speaker cables and you can connect other sources to it.

Is that the 26" dell TV???
Yep
W2600 HD LCD
Why was it deleted?
If I could get the games then it would be a deal-maker, without them I'm not sure (though it is still a bargain regardless).

I purchased the unit from play.com and Pioneer honoured my claim for the 2 free games so as long as your purchase the system within the timescale you will be ok to receive them
All you need to do is complete the form from the Pioneer site and also send your original receipt from your order and they will send the games back to you along with a letter and your receipt, it's worth taking a copy of your receipt for you records on the off chance they lose your receipt
