If you can find it, worth buying 2 so you have a spare battery to charge

Good if you can find them, but I find these sort of Saindbury deals very hard to locate. I'd buy 2 as well!.

These cheap drills tend to be tacky but ok for ocassional use.

They do however make really good electric screwdrivers if they have two gears.

Will have a look, my local rarely has these deals though.

May be worthwhile gatting one scanned to see till price as Sainsburys are often slow to update ticket prices?

Just managed to get the last 11 from my local...

Ideal for some little xmas stocking fillers for me brothers, uncles etc......

And im goin to do what one of the other guys above suggested and give them 2 then they always got a battery charged up...
runrabbit#14
They did this last year, if its the same cordless drill its actually not too bad, the battery life on mine is rubbish lasts about 20 mins but for less than a fiver this is a good deal. I might buy another.

Do you wanna let us know which store you cleared out, to save others a trip...?
GougeUK#16
Just got my dad to pick up a couple for each of us. Haven't looked at them yet myself, but his trained mechanical engineers eye suggested these are not even worth the £4.99.

"A poor workman blames his tool........", damn right he does when they are made in China for Sainsbury's and would cost more than the £4.99 purchase price to ship.

"You gets what you pays for....", Squint shelves, crooked pictures, cabinets that mysteriously fall off walls etc., mmmmm.

I will reserve my judgement till I see one tommorrow, but I guess, you have been warned!!

Whats up Doc#20
Just wanted to point out, I bought one of these at £5 when I popped in to sainsbury's last year I think. It's not worth £5, it is complete and utter rubbish. Seriously, it would not even last 2 minutes after a proper charge and underpowered to the extreme, in the end I gave it away.
I've not voted either way, just my 2 pence.
