This seems really cheap for a 19" widescreen monitor with DVI and built in speakers.

The price is £99.88 - you have to add it to your basket for that price as it is on a special offer, and for those that get free delivery from Scan - otherwise it cost an extra £13'ish.

This ACE widescreen LCD is great value for money. With a 8ms response time and high picture quality its suitable for playing games, watching movies and doing your basic office work.

Looks pretty good for the price as long as you get free delivery (and no cashback hassle like the HP 20.1" offers).
#2
Looks good for under £100 :) Thanks!

You have to add it to your cart, and be eligible for free delivery (many of us on hotukdeals are)

3 Year garantee as well.

Only bad thing with scan is they use s**tylink.

I've ordered a number of things from scan in the past and they've all either been wet, cracked, dented, looked like someone had taken a sledgehammer to it or not working all due to the courier.

I daren't risk it, least microdirect use amtrack who treat your parcel with the most possible care rather than throw it in the van.

So what's the secret to get free delivery? Shipping costs of nearly £12+VAT puts a bit of a dent on the deal.

Cheers, Raichea

It was an offer posted on hotdeals last year, just had to register at the time on Scan site, and they gave you free delivery for life.
Still not ordered from them though since getting it...

I bought a 19" Hanns-G LCD Monitor from Amazon when it was mentioned on this site and have been delighted with it.
VGA & DVI and an Xbox360 looks excellent when using one of these monitors :)
They're now even CHEAPER than when I bought mine:

£109.99 inc delivery (from Amazon) v. £120.18 (for the ACE LN17453 from Scan)

Cracked order
Dented order
looked like someone had taken a sledgehammer to it order
and a not working order........

And you were STILL placing orders with them??

yeah it is a bit off considering some of us have been using scan for years (well, registered with them anyway!) and lets face it, citylink isn't worth paying for.

i've got a 19" ace tv/monitor and it really is good, not this one though.

I had never problem with City Link, Ebuyer uses them and they always delivered on time and all in order. Only when Ebuyer once used Royal Mail I never received the goods. Funny, we all have different experiences but I would not generalize.

Yeah I hate having to use CityLink here in Southampton, they don't knock, drop a card off (if you're lucky) and run away very fast normally.
CityLink are contracted out to firms aren't they in each city...so each one could be different.

got this monitor and it's great.

I have never had a problem with City Link, as stated eBuyer uses them. And their online tracking is excellent....

I bought a monitor from Evesham once, was delivered at 6:30pm, checked the POD online the next day and it said delivered at 1:00pm. Thought their was something funny about the delivery guy, can't remember the courier now though.
