Does anyone have one of these ?.I have an almost identical Goodmans one and even though the panel resolution is 1440 x 900 the max display used is 1024 xx 768 and the picture is terrible no matter which input you use, would be nice to hear from an owner and make sure this isnt a rebadged version,

I am taking delivery on Thursday, I will let you know tonyg1962.

I think it is the Mirai DTL-719S300 rebadged as an Aria.

good but no freeview...

Wow, integrated USB and card reader, now that's a great feature!! :-)

Screen's a bit small, wonder if they've got a bigger one?
#7
Now if this had freeview (even if it was a little more expensive....) I'd have one for the kitchen !!
#8
Can this play DivX / Xvid files? Would get this if it could, and watch em from USB reader.
#9
Yeah I would be interested to know if you could stick that 120GB from staples in and have it read that.

I suspect it will read DIVX but would like to know if it can read folders or if everything would have to just be on the disk????

It always amazes me that every time someone takes the time to post bargain TV's there's always 20 people waiting in the wings to pour scorn on it or say "but it hasn't got" or "if only it had" or " but if you paid another £300 you could have a Sony" etc. etc. You know who you are !!

It's bizarre that it doesn't have a digital tuner considering the rest of the spec if pretty comprehensive and up-to-date. Usually when you see a set with only an analogue tuner they don't have an HDMI input or anything like a USB/card input.

We all know where to get cheep freview boxes if needed... just not as neat if it's external.

i agree with poisonjam
lack of freeview is a crime for such a tv. it doesnt take the manufacturer much to install the right tuner card.
analogue will be switched off starting next year!!
so although a bargain now, obsolete very soon.

Which is why i think these analogue sets will be sold off very cheaply soon, add a freeview dongle/box and it isn't obsolete. I'll wait till they are around the £100 mark before i get one for my lil girls bedroom.:)
#15
Hardly obsolete when a freeview box costs less than £20!!
#16
exactly... an extra box... extra space... extra power... taking up an extra port... costing EXTRA!
i'd rather have the ebuyer sense model

HD DVD's - No chance

It will play HD if you buy an HD input device (PS3, Blu-Ray, HD-DVD) but off the shelf - No
