Forgive me if this has already been posted... couldn't see it anywhere.

Title says it all really, a quick google reveals some good user reviews for this monitor and for the price it's a bit of a no-brainer really.

Edit: Looks like Amazon have realised their mis-price and stuck the price back up to £129.99
My order hasn't been cancelled though, so fingers-crossed we'll still get them.
- BigAde

Edit 2: Price has now gone up even further to £145.65!!!
Amazon have honoured the deal and monitors are now turning up on people's doorsteps thick and fast...
- BigAde

Edit 3: Oops, ignore Edit 2 above, Amazon are still offering this monitor at £129.99

Absolutely fantastic price... there are still some 15" vga monitors being sold for £100 in the shops! This is particularly good considering it does have dvi which a few recent bargains haven't. I'm thinking about grabbing two also...just need to think about how to span them :D
#14
Agreed admin, this is an amazing price indeed!! Voting HOT as we speak!!!

Remember to give some reputation http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/images/custom_buttons/reputation.gif to the original poster if you think he/she deserves it!

Hi everyone, I'm new here!

I just bought one of these...have been keeping a close eye on this particular TFT waiting for it to drop to around £100...great spec as mentioned!

Does anyone know if it comes with a DVI cable?

If not, where is the cheapest place to get one?

Cheers!

I use mainly photo viewing/editing software and the internet, so how would these look on a widescreen tft? Not interested in playing games or watching DVD's, and not interested in having applications open side by side (I'm a bloke so can only do one thing at once). Widescreen any advantage to me? Will photo's look better in a widescreen format. How does the IE/Firefox look?

Agreed....Price is FAB !!!

Agree with magicplastic, you may find yourself better off with a standard sized monitor. That said, I also do photo editing on my widescreen monitor and don't feel particularly hindered by it. Internet browsing with IE is fine, you just getter a wider browser window, but you will find most sites are optimised for a standard monitor.
There are some great deals on standard sized monitors at the moment, so have a look around...!

NEED... TO... RESIST!

I've been wanting a widescreen for ages now but really really can't afford it. £105 though!!! That's dirt cheap and a great deal with DVI! I hope for my sake it feels all cheap and crappy like that emprex one .

:( There better be a deal like this at christmastime, maybe on the rapidly falling 20" widescreens?
#25
Just after I've purchased two 19inch TFT monitors in last few months ...as is always the case with new technology these TFT monitors will now become cheaper as more units are produced..it all comes down to unit costs.

This is a terrific buy and I only wish I was in the market.

I bought a DVI cable on ebay last week for £2 inc postage..a bargain....the seller trades them with bids starting at 99p and 99p postage...my bid of £1.01 was successful so take a look.
#27
Thanks currychops :) eBay is okay for some things and that's a very decent price for the cable...
#28
Ok
For the cheap seats whats DVI and why do I need this cable for it??
Im no tech head so apologies for my ignorance

regards
#29
Digital Video Interface, your graphics card will ideally need DVI outut but you can get adaptors if needed.
#30
Or use the analogue input of course :)
#31
Thanks for the quick reply. So its to connect my Graphics card to the monitor itself is that right?
Im so thick when it comes to this type of thing.....
#32
Yes it's for connecting to your computer or laptop graphics/monitor output.
