Ah yes that household name iKasu :giggle:

Have to say that my experience with seriously cheap/unknown brand LCDs leads me to give this one a wide berth.

Nice find! Some of the specs look wrong - viewing angle v75, h75 (do they mean v175 and h175?), and 405watts power consumption (more like 45watts?). Someone above said its not widescreen - 16:10 and 1440x900 pixels (misprint in details of 1140x900) suggests it is! :)

Contrast ratio of 700:1 is very good for a desktop monitor, but is it enough for TV viewing purposes?

nice price though

Good deal - I prefer the ebuyer one for £180 (£190 less £10 google checkout) which also has a built in DVD player. Still 19" W/S and in Black or Silver too!
#11
Does the ebuyer one have the all important built in freeview ?
#12
Watch their terms and cond., if you order and want to cancel, they'll issue a Credit Note, not a refund!

What a ******, went to lunch with intent to order on return and now the item has vanished from the site!! Does anyone know where there are any reasonable priced TFT's 17" or 19" telly's with a freeview box built in.

Here is the link for the silver ebuyer one (sure it was on here the other day) but it does NOT have Freeview:

I bought a 10.4" freeview LCD TV from them a couple of months ago. When the external power supply failed 2 weeks ago I rang them up and the next day a new power supply arrived in the post. That's good service.

Ordered 19" on the 10th August, delivered yesterday 15th.
Looks and sounds OK.
Came with the wrong instruction manual so I have not completely set it up yet as the menus are not altogether easy to understand.
Tuned it into the terrestrial channels and everything seems fine.
Contacted Unbeatable Gadgets re the manual, got through straight away and the correct manual is now in the post.
I'm happy so far.

someone on mse says it is actually widescreen, any chance of some pics please as the pic on the site is pretty poor

Can confirm it is wide screen

Instruction manual arrived 2 days after phone call, so after sales service is good.

I am impressed with the TV. Clear sharp picture. A smart looking piece of kit.
Someone mentioned the viewing angle, I can confirm that you can get a good sharp picture from either side of a super king sized bed at a distance of about 10-12 feet.
A word of warning though. The digital receiver needs a strong aerial signal. I plugged it into my normal TV aerial on which I run 2 diggi boxes without any problem. I was unable to tune into any digital channels (analogue fine). I thought that the equipment was faulty but I took it around to a mate who has just had a proper digital aerial fitted and it worked fine.
I am now watching freeview via one of my diggi boxes through the scart input whilst I save up for a new aerial.
