Just ordered this myself, and thought it was a great deal.
Not branded refurb may put some off - but cheap for the kids bedroom.

Also says it has a PC input, so I'll see when it gets delivered.

EDIT: Don't forget Quidco!!!

From the site:
For LCD technology on a budget, the Uni Media UMC 19/16 IDTVDVD 193 Refurbished HD Ready LCD TV with Built-in DVD Player is a great choice!

This flatscreen television is HD Ready at 720p and has a 19-inch screen with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, for beautiful picture clarity. Nicam stereo offers clear sound to match the picture. And because this TV has been professionally checked and tested, you can have all this in like-new standard at a fantastically reduced price!

With a built-in DVD player that also plays audio CDs, the Uni Media UMC 19/16 IDTVDVD 193 Refurbished HD Ready LCD TV with Built-in DVD Player is an ideal second television for your bedroom or home office, particularly since its PC input means it can be used as a monitor for your computer. But in stylish black, with a stand included and a wall-mounting option, this TV will look good everywhere!

Just to say I bought a couple of these (new not refurb) a couple of years ago for my kids. The first DVD player went within 6 months and was repaired under warranty (4 weeks without a TV). The second one went just after its warranty had expired. And finally the previously repaired one broke again and wasn't under warranty as they don't extend the original one after they've repaired it. So one kid has an xbox for playing DVDs and the other now has a little portable DVD player connected to the TV.

Dont expect the builtin DVD players to survive much beyond a year !

As an alternative the 22" just got cheaper at bestbuy. £110.69 after cashback with DVD and USB record function.

It says 4:3 but I'm not convinced it is.

Part of the HD Ready spec is 16:9. Unless the image is distorted, it's definitely 16:9.

I personally would never buy a refurbished electrical item from past experience.

Netto have a cracking little 19" TV / DVD combo with USB and SD Card input. Only £115 brand new, DMG is the brand. Has freeview, twin tuner, HDMI, lovely!

Pretty sure that desc is wrong though. HD Ready means min res of 1280×720 doesn't it? The AR of that must be 16:9. I would only expect to see 4:3 on a SD resolution.

EDIT - OOS now anyways.

I'll confirm this when it gets delivered, but a quick google and most sites seem to have it listed as 4:3.

Not yet, having second thoughts now as I wish it had a usb port as kids are never good with discs. Was just thinking about refusing the delivery so I wouldn't get stung for having to send it back.
