Funny, yet I suppose everything is a matter of taste.

For anyone who likes this kind of book it's well worth checking out Steven Luke's The Curious Enlightenment of Professor Caritat. Fantastic Read!

Use to be near impossible to find at a reasonable price, but since they released a second Edition.

I'll heat for now, but Watchmen said that when it was stupidly cheap on the website before and they got cancelled.

Nice to see some classic literature on HUKD.

One of the most disconcerting, ominous, prescient, prophetic and relevant novels ever, which frequently appears in various 'Best Books of All Time' lists.

My personal favourite book of all time is Animal Farm - and we can see that the adage 'power corrupts' is a fact demonstrated by numerous politicians in governments in the UK and all over the world today...

A must read for anyone living in fascist UK.

Keep the Aspidistra Flying is one of my all-time favourite books

I agree. After hearing the way some people talk about it, I was rather unimpressed.

Personally I preferred Huxley's view of the future in 'Brave New World'

Hot!! A great book with more than one message to it. "Animal Farm" is also good but "Down and out in Paris and London" is a fascinating first hand account of poverty in pre-war Europe. Great author.
