A return trip will cost you more than most non-budget airlines.

Why don't you ask op to amend instead of going straight for the jugular?

The deal post does now includes dates and if work had not diverted me I would have updated my post to say thanks before your reply.

I didn't say the deal was cold or vote cold ;-)

I thought that at first - and I think some people are reading it as "£199 to Kuala Lumpar" and undisclosed big-bucks return; but there do seem to be plenty of £199 flights each way.

To be fair when CSIMAN and I originally posted there was no detail on the deal post about when the 'cheap' tickets were available - you could have spent an hour looking for cheap flights. I checked the page and selected a couple of date ranges and £300+ was the cheapest I saw.

Fortunately the OP had the information and quickly updated the deal; so everyone should be happy now.

Not always. They have a lot of rain.

Please remember that with this airline you pay extra for checked baggage Also drinks are not free. Please factor this into your costs.

You will more than likely find it cheaper to fly with one of the more major airlines.

I think you have to pay for entertainment too.

To be honest. This is a warm deal. as you can normally find return tickets with emirates (non-budget airlines) for GBP484. Trust me, you would rather take emirates than airasia. Emirates is ALOT better although you need to transit in dubai which is even better for some1 who plans for stopover.

Here is an example from birmingham to singapore changi airport. To malaysia should be slightly cheaper if im not mistaken

Note: Airasia fares does not include meals and it only flies to low cost airport (Kuala Lumpur LCCT) like London Stanted which is not the main airport in malaysia.

What??? If you only want to SE Asia you can get flights for about £425 with Qatar and remember this includes your bags (i get 35kg with silver FF status) and food and drink. Its about £4 a drink on the flight so you can easy build up to that price. Also for me Qatar fly from MAN which is better for parking or the train.

Its a ok deal but nothing special at all.

I think the Qatar entertainment system is easily worth £100 for the return flight.

Air Asia's fares has gone up maybe to sponsor their F1 cars. I flew twice with them last year to Kuala Lumpur and each time it costs £300.00 return inclusive of food, luggage(25kg) and seat reservation.

Typical idiotic comment.

Can't see anything lower than around £595 return.. which is well above qatar etc..
