Seen a lot better deals for these type of memory cards. I purchased a 2gb one from ebay just the other day for only £8.50 including postage costs, so there's definitely better deals out there.

Isn't there a lot of Fakes on ebay? I agree with antonfrompreston, It's better buying a branded memory card from a website/shop that you trust. Play.com have both Sony and Sandisk 1GB Cards for £17.99 inc Free P&P

At the weekend I ordered a Sony 1gb pro duo for £12.16 delivered from Amazon. Bit annoyed at the postage costs, £4.50, but the stick was cheap enough anyway.

Yeah these cards are serioulsy cheap on ebay. They usually take about a week to come from Hong Kong (though there are UK sellers too) but as long as the seller's feedback is good it will arrive and be just as good as the one's on the high street and probably a fraction of the cost:thumbsup: .

I'm not certain but I think www.7dayshop.com had them for about £14 delivered?

I got a 4GB one from E-bay the other week for £34 including postage. It has worked fine so far:-D

Until it fails. I'd bet you a real mem stick duo that you have a fake card.

Most of those are slower, often have slightly wrong capacities and frequently fail.

Yep 99% of those on Ebay are fakes

I got a 4GB one from ebay last week for £19 delivered.

It's worked fine for photos and music but i can't get videos to play, but i think this is because of the daft procedure for video settings on the stick, i dunno.. i'll keep trying with it

I'd say 100% of the new ones are fake, if it is used then its got a greater chance of being genuine.

The one I got from ebay was 100% official and was a sony one with the full waranty, works 100% and it came from a uk seller - got it the very next day after winning.

There are some good genuine deals out there, you just have to be careful, but if your not sure what your looking for, like some of the others say, just play it safe and buy from a known retailer.

The reason I know it's official is that i've checked the warranty against other sony items I own and it's no different, same small print etc - same contact information for replacements.
