£2.49+0.99 = £3.48 not £2.48

Cold from me, £3.48 for 1GB doesn't seem like much of a bargain.
Its not a bargain, you can get a 2gb for this price when mymemory have one of their 20 discount codes going...
I've personally never come across ANY mobile phone that uses miniSD cards... most use microSD with the exception of sony that use M2 or whatever.
However, if you are unlucky enough to be stuck with the miniSD format, it would work out cheaper in the long run to buy something like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kingston-memory-microSDHC-adapters-included/dp/B000VX4W78/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1279450819&sr=8-7
4GB microSD, that comes with a mini and SD adaptor... that way you're covered for every eventuality if you upgrade your phone etc... plus microSD are generally cheaper and easier to find than miniSD.... all depends though on what limit your device can handle.

Haven't voted either way because for a 1GB card it's about the normal price... just works out cheaper to get more GBs.
just had 8gb sdhc card with free delivery from amazon for £10.37
The o2 x3 uses it. Mind it's a tad old. Thou still prodcues some good camera shots for a mobile
i have come across the mini SD before in chinese mp4 players but just bought the adapter to use micro sd its a sze they tend not to use now
Be careful with the micro-mini options, many older devices won't support SDHC. My old HP Ipaq doesn't, but it is still useful and more reliable than my new HTC (new one needs to be rebooted often).
