  Problem with this is any DDR3 laptop will already have at least 1GB, and most have only 2 slots, so this is pretty much redundant. Shame as its a good price.

  Yeah shame, almost any DDR3 laptop probably came with 1GB min possible on 2 DIMMS and so this won't likely be much use for upgrading.
  
  Could be useful for those that tinker and built up bits from parts however.
