Sorry but was this ever 98p?
I see this everywhere at 67/68p/KG..sure this is cheaper, but I'm bored of their price inflation crap.
#13
I don't think this was 98p as above poster said, just to make half price looks good. I got these in the past and find it less in sweetness than Tate & Lyle sugar, I think a little inferior in quality.
#14
Shouldn't we be looking to cut sugar out of our diets as much as possible? Stocking up on it would be a bad idea to me and encourage you to consume too much of it.

End of day I hardly use sugar on anything, I don't have it on cereals and never have it in drinks. In fact the only time I use it is when visitors call and they have it in their drinks.

So cold from me.

Might b an idea to stock up, heard the price of sugar is gonna go thru roof as is wheat.
#16
I'm sweet enough but my partner could do with some ;)

Bought this once and never again. It had a foul aftertaste like it had something added to it. It was not pure sugar thats for sure. I ended up throwing 90% of it away. Sorry, but this is nasty! :(

there are always those trying to put a guilt trip on - i cant do without sugar, and thats the way it stays to get cheap sugar is a good deal.

as for 98p i dont know about morrisons but tesco have sold sugar for 98p (tate and lyle) for many months, and my local co-op its the same price.

however if you dont have a morrisons, then if you do online shopping with tesco they have a cheaper sugar at 68p you can order it but more often than not its out of stock, so they give you the tate and lyle for same price, so cheap good sugar over cheap crap sugar.

I hope the nazi comment is not aimed at me and also why even feel the need to use such an expression?

Also if you need to have sugar "or you faint" then seriously you need medical help. Who told you that? Go ahead if you must I don't care but I'd hate to think what you look like if you "eat as much sugar as you like".

Sugar in general is bad for you FACT:

http://www.livrite.com/sugar1.htm

So go ahead stock up on it, have fun with it but don't blame me when all your teeth fall out and you've got diabetes. Ok a little extreme but the fact is that in this da and age we should be cutting out sugar and not putting more into our diets.

The deal is cold from me because it is bad for you not because I don't use it. You can exist perfectly well without buying sugar, mabe try it some day. It's no wonder this country is full of obese and overweight people when the don't even try and give up things that are bad for you.

lol an idiot? I'm not the one who has no regard for their health, so who's the idiot now? And as for the guy who said he needs food or he dies, where did I say not to eat? I'm on about buying sugar and adding it to your diet when you don't need to as you naturally get sugar from food anyway.

As I said earlier it's no wonder there's so many obese and unhealthy people around clogging up the NHS with their self inficted conditions wasting tax payers' money. The idiotic responses on here just show what kind of people we are dealing with.

You guys just seem to respond out of fear, fear of the truth that you are unhealthy and can't face it. By all means go ahead and buy packets of the stuff and save yourself a few quid but the long term damage that you are doing to yourself is a very high price to pay.

And once again ......COLD from me for those of you too thick to understand my reasons.

Oh and before you go ahead and respond or quote me I wouldn't bother as I won't be reading your comments.

Why do you feel the need to preach people? People do know too much sugar intake isn't good for the health, it's their choice what they do. It is ]damn rude & ignorant of you to say to the person need serious medical help, some people have certain medical conditions which requires sugar and consuming it from food isn't always convenient.

Fear of what? Stop making silly assumptions. For the record I'm a lightweight 60kg guy, attend the gym regularly for the past 10 years averaging 3-4 times a week. I want to put on 7kg so more sugar please :p

I guess it's all down to personal preferences....
I'm sure most users of the site are adult (and hopefully mature enough) to make informed decisions as to their life-choices etc...
If individuals want to have a rave, maybe they should have a look at aspects of their own lives' and any shortcomings they may have......?
In particular do individuals' that wish to criticise in the public domain have their failings? For example - do they drink alcohol, do they smoke, do they drive......?

Merely a rhetorical question that really does not require a reply. :{

Nearly EVERYTHING that we do has some knock-on effect with public resources......
