Thanks for letting us know, went to asda the other day and all they had left is quality streets... looks like Heroes, Celebrations and Roses are the more popular choices.
#2
Do you mind me asking how you know this?
#3
I work for Morrisons in admin and we have a pallet wrap with the deal plastered all over it!

Cool thanks

Great for the ones that missed out on the Asda deal, especially if you work for Morrisons - extra 10% off so not much difference in price.

#7

#8
Nice one as I don't have a asda :)

Best deal yet that ive seen. Do Tescos really think we are stupid enough to believe their so called 'BOGOF' at £10 each is a good deal???? £10 each!!!! I know if you go for it it equals out to £5 per tin, but the offer is BUY ONE GET ONE FREE so they should be priced at £5 each!!!! Tesco con yet again.
Good on ya Morrisons!! Show em how its done in style.

I saw the same offer in Co-op at the weekend if you're not near a Morrisons store.
#11

#14

#15
Great deal if true.
£3.99 for a tin of sweets, our lass will never loose the weight for Xmas.
Thanks Hotukdeals strikes again, this site is so addictive - just like the HEROES.
#16
QS would be my preference; they are toffee based whereas all the other are more chocolate based.
#17
thanks but i raided asda at the weekend for the 2 for £7
#18
2 for £7 at asda, only hot if you dont have a asda really.
#19
think asda might be 750g
#20
Thay are also doing 2 for £8 in Co-op includes Roses and celebrations :)
banned#21
Just checked asda and they currently have a 1.1kg tin for £5 (45.4p / 100g) whereas morrisons works out at 39.9p / 100g, so this is def a better deal
#22
No wonder we are turning into a nation of Fattys!! America here we come
#23
oh great here come all the chocolate deals just when i start my diet :P
#24
I did Asda Slough yesterday (Sunday) 2 Quality Street for £7 or 1 tin for £5, and they were 1.1Kg tins.
They had had the others - Roses, Mingles, Celebrations last wek but had sold out by yesterday.
2 For £7 works out at £3.50 per tin, has anyone seen them for less ?
#25
Thanks for the info
#26
yes my 2 tins for £7 at asda are 1.1kg tins :)

In actual fact they have been £5 each in Tesco for about 2/3 weeks now. So they've actually been cheaper in Tesco than Morrisons for a good while - so I'd hardly call that Morrisons showing it how it's done. :p

Judging by the amount of these there was at my local Tesco today, I wouldn't be surprised to see Tesco cut the price lower than £5 this week too. Decent deal from Morrisons, heat added.

Yippie!!
Have a £5 Morrisons voucher
So two tins for £2.98
Great value.
Asda leicester only had Quality Street left.
One guy had 30 tins in his trolly.
Got stopped by staff and told he couldnt have that many.
Two tins enough for me
Voted Hot!!

So you are moaning at Tesco for selling them at £5, wheras currently (and until Thursday) Morri's are selling at £7.99. Struggling to see you logic TBH
#31
Great - don't have an Asda and no other deal yet has had Heroes.
#32
Thank god for that sick of people moaning at me a they go through the till about the price of our sweets. Anyone would think I made the prices up:roll:

I bought 2 myself. Good on the staff. He'll have to go to the cash and carry for stock for his shop. I saw the sign saying 6 maximum when I went in on Saturday. I'm glad they're enforcing, it's much fairer that way. All that was left was Quality Street and Mingles but with guys like him there wouldn't even be those left. It reminds me when supermarkets reduce stuff and people come along and buy the lot filling up the whole trolley with reduced bread/cakes due up that day leaving none for anyone else. I've seen it myself. Selfish *******s.:x

I'm afraid not, all very hush hush until just before we open tomorrow morning at 8. Apparently a price change will be issued at around 7am with a price, so it should be a decent deal if it's been kept under wraps right up until the last minute.
