Just been to Sainsburys and they are selling all Christmas trees with a free base unit to stand them in for the grand total of 1p

Grab them while you can!

Also noted that all fresh luxury puddings, i.e. large chocolate trifles etc are all half price

jsut been to the one in swindon to buy one for a humbug we know but they had sold out :-( the staff dont really dont want to be there anymore! atleast they are offically closed now!

Most likely real as artificial ones come with a base ;)

I noticed yesturday that homebase where giving *real* christmas trees for free, yes thats £0. Had a whole stack of them outside my local store (hatfield). No stands though, which I guess are useful as you can keep and use again.

At my store, the staff get them for free! I was going to get one, but i don't need one!

they are real trees, you cant use them for next year they would be dead.

I did the selling fo xmas trees 2 years ago for sainsburys and they came with a free plastic base to hold the tree upright of course each base was filled with sand and we netted them there and then was only about a tenner a tree.

to be honest pretty pointless selling them off for a penny on xmas eve unless your homeless and could do with a good warm fire for xmas night when its cold.

I wanna know why this is so hot? Let's face it, anyone who hasn't got a tree yet is either very forgetful or a tight fisted *******.

Would be a nice surprise to replace an artificial one with a real one.

Lot of hassle on Christmas Eve though LOL

just a thought but would they grow again if planted? gardenings not my thing, but if they would why not plant one in the garden for next year? it does seem a shame all those trees going to waste.

Would have been worth getting one just for Christmas Day if you haven't got a real tree already. :)

My local ASDA had hundreds of bags of brussel sprouts to give away. :santa:
