So went on 1st central website and got quoted £244 so was chuffed considering I have a 4.4l BMW and paid £900+ last year.

Found a voucher for £35 + a free MOT.

I redone the quote with the voucher and it recalculated to £209 and also got £60 tracked on Quidco!

244(originial quote) - 35(voucher) - 60(quidco) -27(cost of MOT at KwikFit) = £122 FOR A INSURANCE ON 2014 M5 IN EAST LONDON!!

This post might have dragged for what it actually is but I am soo chuffed considering i paid 900 last year

Hope this helps somebody!

You have an M5 and live in London - I'm voting cold on both counts. LOL

I just got quoted £2600 by this company for my BMW 530D in Birmingham. More than double what i normally pay.

I have used them for a couple of years. So glad to be free of them. Awful incompetent customer service whereby you pay through the nose for whenever you contact them. Cold!

1st Central gave the best quotes by far for my two children when they got their first cars approx £700 vs nearly £2,000 for most other companies and I have now used them for over two years without any problems and have always received excellent Customer Service.
Yes they do charge you for some changes to your policy but they are not the only ones that do this and at least they make it clear what the charges are. They have now introduced a customer portal where you can make some changes yourself for half the price.
