I dunno why these go so cold, they aren't just USB drives they are eSATA slot in drives that are awesome if you have a Medion PC with the HD2GO slot like the one on sale the same day.
#2
It's obvious that those voting cold have no idea what the hell these are. 69.99 for a 1TB eSATA external hard-drive is an absolute steal. You'd be hard pushed to find any cheaper, even on eBay.

Just for comparisons - these are also on HotUKDeals and are 1tb external drives:

People, this drive is a BARGAIN. If you don't understand what it is, don't vote cold just ignore it and move on!

Both of which are slimline drives. OK if you want something small but expensive for the rest of us.

For normal sized USB 1TB external drives these are recent bargains:
Seagate 1TB External Drive £59.99 Delivered @ Amazon
Western Digital My Book Essential Edition 1TB external hard drive 43.97 @ Currys
HITACHI 0S00062 1000GB 1TB External hd - £56.04 @ Comet plus quidco

So really it's only a bargain if you want the eSata interface.

Just because you don't want the eSata interface that doesn't make it not a bargain. It is a bargain and shouldn't be voted cold as people who are looking for them won't find it.
#6
will get one, as i have a Medion PC with the HD2GO slot. however seems 10 pounds more than i paid for my last one? was just looking for any 1TB hdd then tho. eSata interface is a usefull bonus vote hot

this is a very good deal i voted hot I do not want on or need one but this site is not about my kneeds it is about good deals - honest it is !

What I'd really like is a supply of the cases so I could stick a big drive (whatever is "big" and cheap at the time of need) when my current drive fills.

they guy at the counter today actually said there's a number to call after 30 days, and if they aren't responsive come to the store and they'll call them and make them responsive! so obviously its a known problem - he brought the subject up, not me.

anyway 70 quid for a 1tb esata instore made my sunday - only 15 quid more than tesco's usb one.
