Could I plug this straight into my Samsung PS51D550 TV after putting all the films on it? If it would work so you need any more cables?

I think this is the cheapest i've seen for a new External 1TB... I wonder what that security software it comes with is like? Hot, but with the Western Digital equivalent at 43.20 (amazon) I think i'd be tempted by the extra 3 quid for a brand I trust IMO.

Just so we are all clear, this is a 3.5" drive and requires an external power supply.
But yes, pretty cheap.

I'd rather invest an extra £10 into a WD 1.5TB hard drive.

cheap but bulky, they will soon be an antique.you at least want the usb powered 2.5's and even they are getting cheap, i have a 250gb usb stick and its perfevt for anything i need. still hot.

I bought an 80Gb USB version that had a WD drive inside. No guarantee that this will have a WD inside though.
