which I am not and probably many others. Do you know what the del charge is?

All I get is £47.34 (36.30+3.99 + 7.05 vat) delivered is there a direct link? The price must have changed now, £40.99 on amazon delivered

Cheaper on Ebuyer anyways.
#5
delivery is 3.99,
you need to add it to backet from the today only page to get it for 39.36

errrr......In my book £40.99 is actually more than £39.36.

Simplyjimbo: you have to click on buy directly from the 'today only' page to get it at the discounted price. Delivery charge is £3.99 +vat, unless you can get it for free (forum member).
#7
yes 40.99 is more but when I click on the buy now link it gives me a Total price inc vat ex delivery of £42.65. As I am not a AVforum member the extra delivery of 3.99 +vat makes it more expensive

edit. just did it again and the thing changed to 39.36, still Amazon works out cheaper for me. cheers anyway

Most are imports so be warned, if it goe's pop you'll have a right game getting it replaced

I can't believe some people are too lazy to sign up to a forum. you literally have to fill in your username, email and password. 20 seconds work, max. Add on a few seconds to wait for the confirmation email and that's it
After that ('the hard part') you'll have free next day delivery forever. Yet people still insist on sticking with ebuyer/amazon and their super savers, so they'll possibly get it a week Friday, as opposed to this Saturday or Monday. Baffles me!

+1!

Hot deal ;]

Why has the OP used a picture of a PC case ?! I thought this was an external, not really that good a deal for an internal, even at that price!

This is what i assume, that it is external as with the picture, i thought that was the design of the hard drive. I can not see any, only internal for that price. I need external.

oO MSE is okay for some things, this site is good for others. If its on MSE, its on here. and most deals ON MSE are FROM here anyway.
#18
If you're from Northern Ireland delivery is £10.58 + vat...bargain!!!! Am a member of AVforums too. Used to use Scan years ago but they kept putting the postage up. Scan used to charge £20 delivery here...best sticking to free delivery from Amazon.

Royals, whilst your comments may be handy making 20 posts today would seem excessive unless posting utter carp. As all too often deals on this site get shot down for having some other stipulation such as having to do this or buy that, of which this deal does require. So in all fairness it is only a deal for a minority as it excludes anyone from benefiting from the deal straight away and by the time enough posts have been made on the AVforum the stock could have gone.

For what it's worth I used Amazon who provide a great service at a price that is acceptable, who had stock unlike one the main disties here in the UK. Although Scan do offer some good deals they aren't the be and end all of IT suppliers, lucky for me I can use many other IT trade suppliers which many on this site would be excluded from using, hence why I wouldn't even bother posting their cracking deals on hardware.

waffle waffle...just post 20 carp messages and get free del....for this time or next...in the time you posted this i could have posted 20 messages

Is the warranty 3 years? Scan details state 3 years' manufacturers warranty. I emailed Amazon who said in a standard email it's one year unless stated otherwise and I could not see any warranty details on Amazon's site. Seems a great deal though for a rated hard drive. NB Amazon is pricing it today at 47.99....

mamboboy

I, and others have stated numerous times that the 20 post requirement is with Hexus forums. AVforums requirement is just to sign up to the forum. That's it.

I'm not sure why you're trying to hard to discredit this deal?

Great price but shame about it being through Scan. I've had nothing but problems with them and while I'm sure there are people who have good experiences with them, you've only got to go on a few of the review sites to see they get way below par scores than their competitors.

You post this in most hard drive threads.

No body cares how much storage you have. Trying to use terabytes as some sort of bragging tool.

It's clearly not a genuine question, as nobody even knows how much you download so couldn't possibly comment.

Good deal!!

Great deal

1- You do not need to post on AV to get the free shipping. Just register

2- These are NOT imports. Checked mine at http://www.samsunghddvalue.com/WebRMA/WarrantyCheck/ and its got the 3yr UK warranty

No. I don't use that feature of Hotukdeals.

I like hard drives though.

This is the best deal for a 1TB for a quality product, it beats other 1TB in it's category for speed and performance, 3Years Warranty is nice peace of mind. It's the Shiz!
