Granted, but I'd personally rather spend the 2 and-a-half quid more, get it next day and not have to deal with ebuyer.

Only my opinion though.

from what i've read about aria they seem to be a bit of a nightmare to deal with, at least if you have a problem with them, and i hear many people saying they still get delivery the next day from ebuyer on savershipping most of the time (i do with citylink savershipping from svp as well usually - i know a lot of people complain about citylink, but i've never had a problem myself)

certainly what i read about aria put me right off using them. if you do use them, i'd suggest make advantage of the cheap USB flashdrives at 99p or whatever to add to your order (you can only get 1 of each per order at the cheap price)

Price needs editing to include delivery. 8.17 for standard! rip off
#9
Cold, as stated cheaper at ebuyer (and never had a problem with them in the 5 years I've used them).

Granted city-link can be a pain, but that's not ebuyers fault.

Aria are known to import components, thats why its 1 year :S

Bear in mind that this particular Samsung disk has a dodgy reputation. Too many dying either on delivery or shortly afterwards. I was about to buy one this past weekend until I read the online horror stories. Plumped for the 750GB instead.
The duff disks should have been pulled out of circulation by now, but there may be a few in stock somewhere. Not worth the hassle of having to return and reimage IMHO.

Id go with ebuyer over aria anyday of the week

if you get a problem they are a real pain
and dont care about being rude or telling you where to go
over the phone

If you don't want to deal with ebuyer then there is a slightly cheaper one at Novatech

£86.94 plus you can opt for free delivery.
#15
Anti you should post that as a seperate deal, cheapest around and very good delivery rates.

ebuyer 1 aria 0.
Another vote for ebuyer Aftersales being better than Aria's
(in my experience)

ive rma'd to both ebuyer and aria and theyve both been fine...

aria gave me store credit for the full value of a graphics card after it broke after 11 months of usuage, so i ended up getting paid to upgrade it :)

Never had a problem with Ebuyer and free shipping on these drives. The 750 GB drives offer the best value in GB for your pound.

£90.35 delivered from Scan if you have free delivery with them.
More importantly Scan are definitely offering 3 years warranty on it!
http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=723884
(Ebuyer is probably also a year as it's an OEM model)

Novatech (as linked to earlier in the thread) offer a 3 year warranty on this drive for £86.94, with free delivery if you are prepared to wait a few days, or collection in person from either Portsmouth, Portishead or Reading.

Ive given up trying to point people to novatech. It doesnt work. Seems that its ebuyer or scan for most as its more known.

Personally been using Novatech for 8 years now and think they are great for support/price/etc.

even cheaper at Aria now! £78.67 + £6.95 next day delivery = £85.62

I've had 2 of these so far, one in my HD box (upped from 500GB Sammy in 2.5 hrs) + one in my PC. Takes a while to format (5hrs) but awesome once set up. almost as fast as my raptors.
Clearing because 1.5TB versions are coming. http://www.custompc.co.uk/news/604431/seagate-announces-worlds-first-15tb-hard-drive.html
