Not really an offer for everyone, as they ask for your student card when your buying your tickets. Good for students (like me), everyone else i'd advise sticking to orange wednesdays.
#2
This has offer has been around for a while

Useful reminder though!
#3
Yeah, the last offer someone mentioned you only need one student ID though. So has abit more of an appeal about it

Sent to my brother :-)

you can still do two for one as a student on the orange wednesdays

Yet another offer students don't deserve!
#9
can anyone confirm if it works with one student one adult?

and why's that? People who buy services from Orange do, but people who buy services to enhance their education don't?
how ignorant...

I see where you are coming from but I disagree that students shouldnt get any deals but agree with the notion that many students basically have quite a huge disposable income then whinge how poor they are like on the investment thread

If I was getting £50 a week say to sign on and could afford to go drinking once a fortnight or even once a week but lived off basic food and had no bills you could say I wasnt poor despite having next to no income, because I didnt work I didnt have bills.

i went to an odeon last night to see toy story 3. I was advised that if I get a premiercard from them it would effectively work out cheaper thsn to buy the ticket alone. This card then gets 25% off all tickets every Tuesday.... Not bad

VUE have soemthing similar for some of their cinemas. went to see toy story 3 last night for 4.90/ticket in 3d (should have been £9.60 i believe. Used a £1.50 off and cheap tuesdays card)

There's a difference between education and signing on. Believe it or not, there is work involved in a degree.

wait a minute... I'm a student studying at University. I do not sign onto the dole and the government give me no money, or my parents. I also have a part time job to keep me going during the holiday period.

I see where you come from, some people do that but a majority of them are NOT students, they're people who live with their parents or on council estates.

Had no idea about this...and Cineworld is my local - thanks! Anyone confirm if 1 student + 1 adult is allowed? Does it have to be an NUS card or just a uni id?

Well done aircanman - didn't take long for someone to respond to your rise! LOL! - I think my young offspring refer to this, in their vernacular, as "poned"!

In mah day we 'ad to exist on full grant and we were made to pish it away 't students union, work no hours a day mind, and still got a degree 't end of three years, and saddled with no student debts for next ten years...you were lucky...luxury!

(only problem is I now have kids and I'll be paying out this time times two! - so good on yer students if you get discount as it saves me the money too!)

i used to "abuse" this offer as one student one adult for about a year until they started asking for the second student card...the text does say "This voucher entitles the bearer to one free student ticket to any film when a student ticket is purchased..."

can't be sure tho try it at your local...i know chichester are asking for the second student card...

could be that it was just mentioned in a local meeting or could be that it was a nationwide communication to keep an eye out for this offer and ask for the second student card...

I don't understand some people's (usually ill-informed) hatred of students. My brother stays with mum, works full-time, studies, and has student debts to pay off in their thousands. I'd hardly call it the life or riley.

Sigh..I suppose these comments are just to get a reaction.

I'm sure the "lazy" ones are the ones who flunk their exams and live on the student union beer, you get them in every walk of humanity!

By the way, I voted hot.

you are bang on! most students do work, its a full time education for most.
But like you say, there are some (usually doing a pointless degree), who dont do anything. 90% work hard.
