That is very strange! The saturday girl in the pink tshirt also told me that the reduced Huggies wipes they had reduced to 75p were BOGOF as well so could get 4 packs of those for £1.50 - still a good offer.

think this is just at Chadderton boots though

Many thanks. Buy these all the time for me and my girls. Great for removing make up and for holidays because no alcohol and it is baby lotion so ideal for your skin.

forget that, ar5e wipes, like an angel kissing your bum, saves chaffing and what it technically known in the trade as ' red spot' on the toilet paper.

What trade would that be

they must have surplus left after the summer Festival Season and having to get rid of them all :)

Baby Wipes are *the* festival essential

hehe

the 'moist wipe' trade.

my colleagues and i , did a non scientific study on which wipes provided the best value for wipe.

tenderness, strength of wipe, flushability and aftermath were all vital points for rating the wipes.
johnsons came out on top.

Assume your research was carried out on adults, not babies. Glad to hear it has not reached professional status yet.

Don't know any adults that use wipes in that area. Find the at Tesco Value does just fine, although I really have not carried out any independent research in this area...

Cannot understand why people buy the womens small wipres of make up remover (12) for £2.58 when you can buy treble the amount for far less

eeeek, that is like saying school toilet paper is as good as andrex.

when i was at school there were 2 choices of toilet paper

the grease proof one which didnt absorb, just smeared.
and the
'cut out the middleman' paper, this paper disintigrated on use leaving a display of your work on your hand, almost like you have cut out the middleman and just used your hand.

I have been to the Canary Wharf store (Jubilee Place) and there is none there on offer. A friend has also checked for me in Weybridge Boots- none there either
#26
I visited my local Boots the day after this deal was posted & the 4 x 64 packs were priced at £5.

I had another look today but this time they weren't priced. I checked at the till & they were £2.39! Bargain! I also went to another store & they were priced at £2.39 but the shelf was empty.

So they are still out there!

Thanks to the OP. Heat & rep added
#27
i got these yesterday from my local birmingham store, only 3 pack on shelf so i had the lot - thanks ever so much for posting such a fab deal, it has saved me loads:thumbsup:
#28
my mum has just gone into the same store where i got mine from yesterday and they were full price and was very rude, saying there is no way you would of got them for that price - so we are taking the receipt in 2morow to prove it, another store in brum had them for full price yesterday, i think it depends on what boots you go into
#29
My local store they are 2 for 1 on individual packs, so saved £2.52 thanks

I visited another store today & the 4 x 64 packs weren't priced. Got them price checked & they were £2.39.

These stores in Nottingham have them for £2.39 if anyone's interested:

Victoria Centre - Got some yesterday. There were none on the shelf today, didn't ask if there were any out the back

Broadmarsh - None in stock today but SA said they had some on the way & they will be £2.39 for another couple of weeks

Bulwell - Had some today. I took the ones that were on the shelf, not sure if there's any out the back.

Hope this helps someone!
