My local B&Q have an excellent deal on at the moment on 2.4 metre long decking boards at £2 each which is half what I paid a few months ago.. Great for a garden project at this time of year..

Do people still do decking? I thought that had gone out of fashion at the same time as rag-rolling and Charlie Dimmock.

People in your area don't, pointless really putting decking on the balcony on a block of flats.... Us middle class with grass like it

was £2 yesterday in Ipswich
good find

Next time someone asks me if I want decking i'll make sure I get the first punch in!

I had a look at these last weekend, when they had the 15%voucher deal on (so £1.70 per board). They were very narrow compared to their regular deck boards.

Local BnQ is Chesterfield..
Don't just think of them for decking they are very versatile .. I just edged my garden path with some and will be using the others to make a cold frame..

Good idea, I'm gonna buy some and make a bbq

I looked at these in store and they are very low quality. Will need lots of extra support to keep from warping. Really only good for those looking for one or two years out of them.

OI! we don't have grass we have lawn..:p

Plus 20% off if you spend over £100 this weekend 9th&10th April..
51 deck boards - £102 less 20% = £81.60 and you will have enough boards to build a deck, edge your lawn, build a cold frame and a BBQ (Not!) and maybe a dog kennel ..
Any other grand design ideas out there ?

good price will check local

Yeah then when u buy it try and find a stainer that does not peel and preserves the wood. I have tried ronseal for the last 2 years and still no luck.

Why isn't there a deal up for the 20% off weekend? I got an email alert for one but it was marked as spam - which it clearly wasn't.
#18
can't find anything near this price at our local (Rochdale) nearest was £2.98 a board, when you need 75 boards that's a substantial difference.

spotted these in Sunderland Warehouse today, snapped up the last 10 of the day for my cat run.

need to measure up for the deck i need to build and get back down there tomorrow.

(shop assistant told me they have loads more but are only allowed to sell so many per day or something)

cannot find these online, is it in store only?
#21
can anyone tell me the size & type of these please? I already bought a load of the £2.98p ones which are double sided & just want to make sure these £2 ones will be the same size as I need some more. Also our store does not have them until later in the week.

thanks in advance

the £2.98 ones are the £2 ones from what i saw, £2 in our Warehouse store £2.98 in the small store.

same sizes, same looking and iirc some lads who followed us to the warehouse store said the same barcode

these are not very good compared to others. they are only 25mm thick so will deteriorate pretty quickly.
I have been phoning round all the companies I can find, and the best and cheapest is at Arnold Lavers
100mm wide - 99p a metre
150mm wide - 1.79 a metre
I know it's not as cheap as this deal, but I would steer away and go to Lavers

sadly i was wrong. the £2.98 ones have a different EAN code and are only 23mm thick rather than 25mm, stuck now if i need more.
