Ooh - this looks perfect for a mini-itx or HTPC system, very nice find.

Voted hot and rep given :D
(ok, trying to give it out - I need to spread it around more)

I agree. This is a great find for anyone looking to build a Media Center PC.

Nice one. I've clicked HOT and clicked the Scales for your reputation too.

i was just looking at this myself, currently i have the official microsoft media centre keyboard(wich basically is next to useless the mouse function is redundant).

but just to say this same item is @ microdirect for £33.90 delivered.

if anyone has one let me know how it works think ill wait till after holidays before ordering.
Thanks guys for the comments

Thanks to betelgeus for the price update :)
can anyone confirm how reliable the reception on this is? does it need line-of-soght or just to be within 10m ?

cheers, dan
It's a 2.4Ghz radio signal rather than infrared so it won't be line of sight although obviously if you encapsulate the receiver in solid metal it's less likely to work! My only concern would be it might interfere with a wireless network if the PC was using one.
