Haha a bit weird that you can get the same amount mixed or non mixed! It's a bargain for non mixed, if you get 2.5ltrs of the stuff. HOT

didn't check sorry i bought some new stuff from ASDA about 2 weeks ago so i only noticed this didn't pick any up :(

Asda are doing 2.5L concentrated for £1, the shelves have them at £1.50 but I bought 2 and they scanned in at £1 each at the tills. Says it goes down to -5, use it undiluted for the winter months I would say.

They are also doing 600ml holts or carplan deicer for £1.50.

.

Not much use when it was -20°c here & even using concentrate straight (no water) struggled

Here we go lol It wasn't -20 everywhere in the country and it wasn't every day! I did just fine using this stuff undiluted, it never froze up.

Of course you get the periods in winter where it is exceptionally cold but for the vast majority of the winter this works just fine, obvious exclusions would be parts of Scotland etc where it is colder for a longer period of time.

The lidl stuff still works out cheaper, as you dilute it to 2 parts water & it goes down to -10C, 83p for 2.5 ltrs & stronger. I thought the -5C stuff would do until it froze & damaged my pump, & my area wasn't one of the coldest in the country.

Where are you using it Iceland? how often do we experience the very low temperatures that we had a few weeks ago?
I have been using this stuff from poundland for several years and it works unless we get extreme cold but I imagine whatever one buys it would not cope too well at -20deg!
It costs a quid and a container will last for a long time especially if it's the undiluted type.

Lidl's stuff works down to -60 undiluted, far better value, than this stuff that is almost all water.
