unlock code is .99p on ebay but even after adding it to the basket i cant see the sim with £10 credit?
#9
but have you check it really comes with credit by calling 150;

upload the pic at http://tinypic.com/ and paste the link here

yes i can confirm I have checked and is got credit on simcard. the sim card is a combi sim so if you wamted to use on different phone it can be normal size, micro or nano sim

i read the review on site and saw a comment and took a chance, when i opened the box,the sim pack is right on top of the phone

You don't actually get £10 credit .. it's a £10 everything pack sim card , so when you top up they take £10 out of your credit and you'll get
150 minutes
Unlimited text messages
500 MB data
to use within 30 days

Asda are selling these instore for £20

I can confirm rejector1 is correct. It is misleading, I thought it had £10 already connected to the sim but it doesn't.
It doesn't really seem like Pay as You Go when it expires 30 days later, more like a 30 day rolling contract

The phone, itself, is worth the money.

So isn't there £10 credit on the sim?
#18
So best of just buying from Argos or Asda for £20 then??

It costs £19.99 at Argos but you will need to buy a £10 top up, so £29.99 in the end. The SIM free one costs £34.99
I couldn't find it on Asda website.

Thanks eacasar,

Yer I couldn't find it on Asda website either...they did have a T-mobile one for £19 I think but out of stock.

I've reserved one at Argos as it wouldn't let me buy online, probably because I've got to pay the £10 top up when I get there!! I'm going to try and buy without, failing that I'll buy from Tesco as I don't want to use it on EE and technically £5 cheaper...

I've tried the TDX-YGPK code (£10 off first order with Tesco direct) but didn't realise £50 had to be spent for that to work, doh! Never mind :)

Thanks

I've collected my 2 handsets from my local Tesco this morning and already unlocked one of them with the code bought from the eBay link above.
Thank you all for this.

Argos wanted me to top up with £10 credit on EE there and then in the store making the deal actually £30 so I said thanks, but no thanks!

Therefore picking my 2 Alcatel Pop C1's up from local Tesco tomorrow for £40 using the new member discount code and will decide later if I try and get one refunded, hopefully for £25 making it a £15 deal :D Failing that I'll stick it on eBay, I'm sure it'll make at least £20!

Cheers guys :)

I was surprised as how quick the above link was, I unlocked both phones for 99p each!

I've returned one of the handsets and was refunded £25. :)
