These sell for £19 each normally and this deal is currently so £14.09 each per box. I have been eating these for a few years, really good for on the go protein when a healthy food source is not readily available.

works out at 58p per bar, how much does a mars bar from the shop cost these days?? :)

Thoroughly read the ingredients list about 5 times specifically looking for the word 'gelatine' and missed it X) I know, Cmd+F should have been my friend...

Lemon meringue flavour is probably the best but these bars aren't very good (even though the price is). I doubt anyone will get through two boxes.

I can't even get through the first box, its like chewing on a brick

Maybe try heating them up for 20-30 seconds in a microwave?

High protein bars that are more than 50% carbs?
I'll stick to making my own, better quality anyway :-) .

Hot, all the people moaning about carbs and sugar, just cut out one chocolate bar a day and have one of these to help supplement your high protein diet, some of you guys talk like you eat cleaner than A sterilised table
#22
it's a flapjack, of course it's going to be high carbs. the whole point of it.

Got some of these a couple of weeks ago... £13.49 for 24 from Discount Supplements during a 25% off promotion (it's over now) + cashback. Good bars.

One of the better tasting flapjack/protein bars. Taste a lot better than anything Maximuscle or from Reflex. I like both the Choc Orange and Cherry Almond flavour. They do repeat on me a little, which is why I now avoid. Have now switched to Bodybuilding Warehouse's Protein flapjacks, which are very good but more expensive than these.
#26
not sure if you can stack this code with the 6% one but worth a try:
SHRED5 will give you 5% off

got it from my friends website http://cheapproteindiscountcodes.co.uk/ where he posts discount codes for some of the big sites, so might help people find some good deals for HUKD in the future (_;)
#27
Not bad if your trying to bulk. I'd rather make my own.
#28
these have been cheaper last week when they have the 25% sale the single boxes work out at £13 a box of 24

sorry somebody beat me to it

Flapjacks are very bad choice for protein bars. Better stick to simple bars without oats.
#30
Used too buy these but the aftertaste is horrible and they do repeat on you
#31
oats are pretty much the best source of carbs you can get.. (unless you want to go the chewy route of oatbran/oatmeal).
I think these bars are supposed to be combined with activity to burn the carbs. Like sports or the gym. Not to munch on while sitting at home on the sofa.
#32
Glucose syrup, oats, white chocolate, wheat flour, gluten, milk and loads of crap carbs. Nothing healthy about these bars. They will add more sugar to your fat stores than the amount of protein. Totally unhealthy in every way.
#33
cheaper/healthier/tastier to make your own

not sure what people are comparing these bars to, or even if they understand their purpose. or just bored and want to have a whinge about something to make themselves feel better... These are a great buy for anyone having to reach their calorie, carb and protein intake targets to gain muscle and lose weight. heat added

probably the same people that think to lose fat u skip breakfast and eat one banana a day and miss all your meals. Thus slowing down your metabolism to a halt meaning u actually get fatter.....

Yeah spot on, these are not that bad. Not optimum but not many are and at the end of the day they're a convenient source of protein. You could get away with them being a meal replacement if you are cutting/losing weight.

Slight exaggeration I hope lol. Your metabolism will almost stop but if you only have a banana a day you will lose a lot of fat and more importantly a lot of muscle. You will also faint regularly and not be able to do a workout but hey if you really want those like 2 week abs. :p
