Usually these are like £2.80 a box, so 2 for £1 seems a very good deal!

2.80 WTF why cant you just say a regular price which is 1.70 normal and 1 pound when on sale.

Its annoying when posters put a stupid regular price so there deal seems fantastic, but its misleading to someone who may not know the regular price so just thinks the ridiculous normal price you posted is correct. Its only cakes i know but thats not the point.

Not just putting that to make it sound better...I went to my local co-op today, and my son wanted a box...at £2.79...

You may have looked at the wrong price tag, or imagined that that was the price you saw.
#9
They're 70p at Iceland at the moment, if nobody has a Poundland near them.
#10
Could eat these all day - best price I've ever seen

These concoction of chemicals should be named more appropriately. Something like Petro Fancy or Carcinoidettes.
#16

The co op is more expensive and smellier lol but no wer charges 2.79 or 2.80 for these. it would be against the law in a way lol

They have plastic in them or something like that, from what I can tell ??

It is low-fat plastic though, for a cake.
#23
Ah well, it it's low fat plastic that's ok then :D

I am sure the op MEANT to put £1.80 a box (which they are RRP) and just hit "2" by mistake.

By the way. Has ANYBODY ever seen the giant ones that are mentioned earlier in the thread?

At one point they were being touted as a credit crunch wedding cake !
#27
the one big cake is no where near as nice as the little ones.
#28
oooh fancy that

Ok, so we now get the message that these are not usually £2.80 a box, so why does every second post need to be mentioning that it is not £2.80 usually?
#40
Why is this expired? I just got back from Romford where they are still being advertised? Sadly the French Fancies themselves had run out but they still had Mr. Kiplings Blackcurrant & Apple Pies, Mr Kiplings Chocolate Whirls and Mr Kiplings Lemon Whirls all at 2 boxes of 6 for £1!
