What's GBK?!
Company that employees illegals to keep prices down then snitches on them.

That's Byron, not GBK (Gourmet Burger Kitchen).

LOL "surely theres more to it than 2 Burgers for £10!!! how much are burgers usually if 2 for £10 is a good price!"

You sound like my dad...

dad is it you??

half a sixpence gets you no where these days...

Garlic with bread?

Cheese and cake?

Oil and Bread...

Frap - a what a - cino....

Of course it'll all change now we are out of Europe...

Burgers will be a sensible price and we will get butter with our bread in a restaurant...

Heat.... although its disappointing that GBK are no longer owned by the same people that set them up and they are now part of larger chains and have moved away from some of what made them very good to start with...

like serving macs gold... anyway... ramble over...

heat given.

Rarely eat fastfood but this seems like a good deal although I've never eaten at GBK. Also, they couldn't throw in chips at least?

For £5 each they must be really good.

Over rated, no more gourmet than the next greasy takeaway. Ate at the one in birmingham, near Aston uni, never been back since.

Tastes like cheap burger from Lidl and these are more mini burgers than regular size. Ok for kids.

Exactly the same effect on me after eating at the NEC Resorts complex. Just another eatery on my 'pretentious' list.

Don't rate their burgers. But then again I'm not eating in Byeon either anymore. Who cares anyway, there are a couple of Five Guys nearby now anyways

For £5 each they must be really good.

£5/burger is considered good for central London. There are street food vendors in some outdoor markets trying to push £7/£8 a burger. At least with GBK they give you somewhere to sit.

I'm not a fan of the gentrification of food. Look how successful Pizza Express is. The burger market is just trying to get a slice of the cake too.

Good deal, but this is the worst of the new swanky burger joints. Awful service and the food tastes like a frozen burger with incredibly pungent sauces added to hide the flavour. Although at least they don't run sting operations on their own staff... probably.

GBK has just been purchased by Wimpey... I kid you not. They are starting to roll out white plates and cutlery in all restaurants now.

How do these compare with Big Macs from Mackidies?

I've always thought they used premium quality meat..

SCAM!!! Please be aware these are NOT full sized burgers, they are the lunch menu burgers - so 150g less beef and a smaller bun!!!! These are still lovely and delicious, but they're NOT the regular dinner menu burgers. I would hate for there to be some confusion

I was a big fan of GBK and sang their praises to everyone. I used to say that these are the best burgers I have ever eaten and nothing even comes a distant second. After a three year hiatus, decided to eat there for my birthday couple of months back and was thoroughly disappointed at the quality of the burger - dry, small, tasteless. The menu/options have also been seriously cutback.

I will maybe give it one more chance, maybe it was a one-off bad experience but until then I make sure I tell people how disappointing GBK is. A very big contrast to the high praises I used to sing for many years previously.

GBK has gone down hill in a big way over the last few years. Taste of burgers and service has dropped by quite a substantial amount. It's actually quite embarrassing that they associate themselves with New Zealand, you can get a better burger in a New Zealand fish and chip takeaway
