As it happens I have just finished building this as I was looking for a new gas BBQ to replace my old one..

I can honestly say the build quality is very good, alot better than I had anticipated, my only complaint was that there is very little lava rock supplied but this shuld not be a great issue.

I was dissapointed that it said propane only but took the chance as there is no real difference after building it and fitting my old butane requlator to it I can confirm that this, as well as all other Argos BBQ's will accept a butane reg, indeed even the instruction book states butane or propane.

All in all I would highly reccomend this, but remember unless you already have a gas BBQ you will need to pay a deposit for gas cylinder (£29.99) and a fill (Around £12.50) so the total really £80

Id rather have a charcoal barby anyday. Better taste. Decent price for a gas one though.

But can't you add a wooden log or something like that which gives you the charcoal taste?
