Kitvision 7" Digital Picture Photo Frame (Black)

Memorex MDF0738 7" Digital Photo Frame
Thanks G! The memorex one looks pretty good spec for a pretty good price.
thinking of buying it myself....hmmm
I could not find a review of the KitVison viewer but the ones for the Memorex are mixed. There are som egripes that the images are not clear but what put me off is that the viewer is not random and always displays the images in the same order when you turn it on.

If this is incorrect then someone correct me please.

26 review here but read the last two http://www.hawkee.com/shop/prod/3276578/reviews/
yup thanks for the post and yep the The memorex one looks great

normally 480 x 234 is not sufficient for decent picture display, but it's so cheap tho. still voted hot!

Just ordered one of the hanspree.
cheers looked at that earlier but was full price now gone down doh rep given :)
Both bad resolution, but if you're gonna buy one, buy the Memorex one.
i would say out of the 3 the hannspree is by far the best ^^^
Great price voted HOT. But I wouldn't buy one.
looks liek the memorex and hanspree are sold out. Just the kitvision left which is 320x234 - is this worth buying?
to everyone saying that it's a low resolution - it's the equivalent in pixels per square inch as a 21" widescreen monitor runnign at 1440x700. so it's *not quite* the same as the image fidelity of a normal PC monitor, but, specs wise, it's within spitting distance.

Now, i haven't seen what it's like in real life, so can't comment on what the actual screen looks like, but taking it purely on technical specs, 480x234 on a 7" screen is not, under any reasonable definition, low resolution.
Got one of the Memorex and Hanspree from me and my mum, gonna keep the best one, anyone know which is best ?

Oh and any idea the cheapest place to get the cards ?
I ordered the Hanspree this morning after reading an email off Play.com, but having checked here, someone had already posted.

heat added.

Ive had a digiframe for a year or so and the resolution is great on the hanspree fine for most pics so it should be hard to choose from display. But the way they organise folders and randomise the display was the deciding factor for me.

Cheap cards, I bought a cheap card but only a standard 2G SD at the time not an SDHC because mine doesnt seem to recognise any card over 2G for some reason probably due to new classes of SD card and old reader in the frame.
Still I used a free tool from microsoft called ""resize"" to shrink all my photos down to 800x and 1024 sizes and I have got thousands on the card and the frame just sweeps through them forever, seems I never see the same pic twice !!
Hope this helps someone
New SDHC cards 4GB were available for a fiver at 7dayshop and at Cdiscout recently through links from HUKD
dont know about older SD cards though
I've got one of the kitvision frames and its great! Can't believe its £17.99 now???

voted HOT!

can't see the Memorex MDF0738 one anywhere

That's because it's sold out
**** frame, great price...

Considering there are 800x400 7" frame around, albeit different price, the quality on these ain't that good.
Just ordered one. thanks,
Just ordered one of the hanspree.

Snap.. Thanks OP
I think these are still a tad of on expensive side for what it is. Once it hit < £10 then it could be good.
have all the security issues been sorted out with play.com?

Got two kitvisions, one is still unused and boxed, the other is used in our house, and as you say, its really good. Haven't really compared it to any others because not felt the need to as its more than sufficient. I paid £29.99. I was thinking of selling the other one - anyone interested?
