2 return express class tickets for 32 GBP instead of 64.

Personally, I prefer the Piccaddily line though it takes ages to reach saves me quite some money too.

But this should be useful for anyone planning to travel with the Heathrow express anway in that period.

Cheers
Greg.

Did you know if you travel intercity into London and get one of those credit-card style paper tickets. It allows you to transfer between London termini for FREE!

Just use the same ticket to enter the underground to another rail terminus. Although please note, if your destination does not have a mainline rail terminus (i.e. you go to Oxford Circus that has no mainline services) you will be charged with a maximum fair. Majority of LU staff are happy with this as long as you go to another terminus, but some LU staff, say you can only do this if you are taking a mainline train from your destination... just say you'll buy a ticket at the station to go to xxxx as you have not been lucky enough to get a cheaper advance ticket.

Heathrow Express is still faster than the underground! so this is a good offer if you use this service.

Taking the bus is the CHEAPEST paying option

I'd say the tube is a good trade-off between getting there reasonably quickly versus how much you pay. Can't say the same for the bus, it would be a nightmare for me to get to Heathrow by bus from East London...the tube takes me there in about 1 hour 45 mins including interchanges.

As I said, I posted this so if anyone does use Heathrow Express they have a fair bit to save!

Hey thats a good deal, I'll check it out. I don't use the HEX as it is overpriced and I usually head to Belsize Park so Picadilly to Kings Cross then one change to the Northern Line works for me. But voting hot as it is a good saving.
