Eek, my girlfriend and I went to the one near Oxford Circus last year and they were atrocious. Having discussed what we wanted they gave her a very basic light trim (lucky her) and then for mine (I have long hair) they cut it lopsided, there was over an inch difference in length comparing left and right, and when I noticed the comedy stylist claimed it was just the product or my hair being more curly on one side. Hm. Once washed it clearly wasn't and when I went back for the manager to agree it was a mess, but would offer me nothing more than a free hair cut in the next 30 days. So I never went back.

And to top it all the free champagne was all but alcohol free Bucks Fizz.

So. I'd not even point a barge pole in the general direction.

I had my hair cut - it was great, EXACTLY how I wanted it. I even got a freemakover & professionla photo for free, they were brill.

Stee clear -bad news - Just after your money with no after care

I've used Burlingtons Oxford Circus for my last 4 cuts and have always been happy with the result, mind you I always refuse the champers/bucks fizz :-) They do have quite a turnover of stylists so this might have summat to do with the negative experience described above.

I usually wait for these offers and have mine done at the Manchester salon. I've always been pretty pleased with the result

For those that have used these deals before, do they always ask for a deposit of £50 for booking on the weekend - this is what is putting me off at the moment!!

Thanks for the warning. I guess as with any other chain the quality of the haircut depends on the quality of the people working in the salon. A case of buyer beware!

We had a nightmare with these. Went for the make over day at Cardiff, the day itself we really enjoyed but their customer services are rubbish.

We placed an order for photos at extra cost on top of the day, they said that the photos should be sent out after 8 weeks, but they were not. Had to call back more times than I can remember, as the phones constantly were engaged. (Obviously so may people calling to chase their photos.)

I wouldn't dare pay over £3.50 for a haircut!
