I have just bought a jacket for £34.99 and a dress for £24.99 total = £60, but under the offer I got them for £30!!! Amazing! I think it's a mistake and they've meant to put them as 2 for £50. This is in women's section (obviously, they don't do men's dresses!), not sure what they got in men's dept.

Have to pay for delivery though £2.99 if order over £50, a bit more if under. I did try free delivery code but it wouldn't let me have that and the 2 for £30 discount.

I did manage to get an extra 10% off as well as student discount!

Total bargain am well pleased :)

Same old stuff in them 2 for 30 and 2 for 50 deals. I bought some of that stuff well over a year ago from them deals...
#7
Yeah, this isn't a mistake, they are always doing it. I got two polo shirts which were £35 each in the summer for £30

These offers are quite regular at Republic. Its absolutely one of my fave stores... shame I have no cash at the moment but still hot from me!

The only mistake that i can see is the over-inflated RRP's , the stuff they are selling 2 for £30 are worth pretty much £15 at the most anyway imo ... was hoping for more here , certainly not a glitch with this one tho folks.

I kinda agree, the only some items are a great buy (so worth the deal), others are inflated RRP's.

Not a fan of Republic to be honest. I ended up sending almost all of my first order back. I found the quality to be worse than most 'budget' clothing shops, like Primark for example. Their 'Soul Cal' range is especially cheap and nasty.

Amen to that. It's a shop i used 5 yrs ago but the clothing tends to lose its sparkle, if there is one, after a couple of washes.
Also, there stuff online looks much better than it does in person.

I have just ordered a jacket for £34.99, a hoodie for £24.99 and some jeggings for £10 - came to £44.50 with P&P after discounts - I am happy as it is a favourite shop of my daughters and it means I don't have to get off my lazy butt to buy xmas pressies. Thanks.

Each to their own lol

I have just ordered a Soul Cal jacket and love my local Republic store. It's also about how you wear fashion and not what you wear ;-)

I agree. I ordered a Soul Cal jacket too. Was it this one? I'm not entirely sure if I like it yet though. I think I do, can't decide if it looks a bit chavvy.

I like Soul Cal stuff and I especially like their range of folky looking dresses and cardies.

Chavvy ? Not totally convinced on clothes being chavvy as I still like some Burberry stuff

It's just I normally wear long chunky cardigans, I don't even think I own a jacket! Well we'll see when it comes. I do think it looks nice, it's just I'm not used to wearing jackets!

Got them today - superfast or what, only ordered yesterday and paid cheapest delivery! Still not sure about the jacket. It's a bit tight (size 10) and I'm thinking it makes me look like a puffball! I am very happy with other items though.

Read the returns info and you can return to the store for full refund UNLESS you have paid by paypal in which case you have to pay the postage to return it, I of course paid by paypal...

Annoyingly I bought this http://www.republic.co.uk/content/ebiz/republic/invt/86347/86347_md.jpg about a month ago full price at £39.99, I could have got it for £10 less plus something else with it in the two for £30 deal :(

oh BUMMER :( i have just placed an order totalling £50 so got free delivery (next day none the less) and paid by paypal cz i was lazy to get my debit card out.
now youve just told me paypal is returns by post only. im so annoyed.
lets just hope that i like my items. if not ill just exchange it for another item in my local store.

has anyone tried that? bought online and exchanged online item for something else in store, since dont want to pay extra costs for postage etc? rather get item for item and not waste money on postage.

I only just found out myself after placing the order. I've got something I want to return so I'm going to take it back to the store. PLus last week I bought something that is 2 for £30 but I bought it in shop as a single item. So I'm going to see if I can return that, the item I don't like and buy the one I bought again and have it included in the 2 for £30 if that makes sense.

:) i dont think you made a lot of sense but it dont matter cz i understood you :)
yeah thats a good idea. if you can get away with it - with returning that item and then rebuy it in the 2 for £30 offer...?

lol once i had that similar situation. i bught a blouse at zara full price then 2 weeks later it was on sale. so i returned back the one at home, as long as you have the receipt saying you paid full price they will return it that price and then afterwards i bought the sale blouse. exactly the same and it was the last in my size, so i was well happy.

let me know how the republic returns goes.

im kicking myself for paying paypal. im gonna have to EXCHANGE instore if i dont like. so i hope i like. still waiting for postman. its supposed to come today since its free nextday :)
