About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Went to B&Q looking for a Jigsaw, but ended up getting a Grinder as well as they have a great deal for 2 for £30 making it £15 each for a power tool. OK, appreciate Mac Allister isnt the greatest make and you wouldnt really use it for professional use, but great for a DIYers and would make some brilliant Christmas presents!!!! The mix and match deal is on a £23 Jigsaw - £18 3.6v screwdriver - £20 Sander - £23 Angle Grinder and even the £27 600w hammer driller (as in the link), so if you bought 2 of these, then that really is a great deal. Also noticed, some of these tools come with a 2 YEAR guarantee, which is great as even some of the big names only come with 1 year guarantee. Happy DIYing!

And the point of that comment was...........
(Just to be clear this is not a rant at ALL the employees in that particular store, the ones I've had the misfortune to come across seem to be the worst amongst them)
So two burnt out and you still went and bought a third?..:D..what utter nonsense some people speak in order to vote a deal down.....if you want Makita quality, pay Makita prices.....if however - like many folk - you want something capable of occasional DIY tasks, these are easily up to the job
Here, here, well said and it doesnt matter if they burn out 50 times, the 2 year warranty got your covered ;-)
What else would it be for :-0 ????
He might not have bought a 3rd. He may have used the warranty on the 1st and 2nd one and got it replaced etc. free of charge. Just a thought?
Another thought. If you're using power tools for medium/heavy duty industrial purposes (to the extent that you burn out three of them)...don't buy odd-job man power tools as its blindingly obvious that's not what they're intended for.
To drill 2 holes at the same time haha

I guess that you might get a Stanley fatmax angle grinder for £13.50 from Homebase rather than a £15 one from B&Q
Good job this deal isn't about buying employees then :-0
But as your comment said, there's none left :-0 so you cant get a £13.50 grinder from Home base :-0
i know, imagine employing a tradesman and he turned up with this not a makita or something. id ask him to leave LOL !! says everything ... COWBOY
The cowboy wouldnt even have a horse, turn up in a donkey
I do wonder how many people get overcharged for stuff because they are just too busy to check receipts. A friend works in a supermarket and apparently this happens a lot. Stuff also gets put in wrong places and customer picks it up thinking it's price on shelf when it isn't. Okay, you should check but many people today are so rushed the time is not there. Me? I check if I'm a penny short! LOL

I use 3. One set up as an SDS, one as a wood/metal normal chuck and one as a screwdriver. I found this to be the optimal setup for me.
I can fly through any task with minimal changes needed.
