Love!! Can i collect different sets of tokens to get more free tickets? Any ideas? x
#3
probably good to add this extra info too

How do I get it?

Tokens will be in The Sun/News of the World every day from Sat 14 Aug - Sat 21 Aug, so the last date you can start collecting is Tues 17 Aug (£1 total spend if you buy 5 x 20p papers in London, £1.50 total spend elsewhere). Once you’ve got five differently numbered tokens, complete the application form (printed on Weds 18 Aug and online towards the end of the offer).

All the tokens have to be from different days, you won't be able to pick up tokens from five of the same day paper.

Send your application and tokens to the address given, plus an SAE of at least 15 x 8 cm with a first class stamp attached. List your five date band choices, in order of preference, on the bottom right hand corner of the envelope you send your application in (not the SAE).

What else do I need to know?

There’s 75,000 pairs of tickets being given away, and it's first come, first served. They’re subject to availability, so get your application in soon to give yourself the best chance of bagging a pair. Applications must be received by Weds 25 Aug.
Applications that do not include five band choices will not be processed. Applications that do not include five band choices written on the outer posting envelope will be processed last.

Allow 28 days to receive the tickets. The offer's available in England only.

You’ll be contacted with an alternative if your dates are unavailable. Watch out, as if you send multiple applications from the same household they’ll all be void! Additional visitors must pay full price

extract from Wiki-
The Sun, during the British miners' strike, 1984–1985 supported the police and the Thatcher government against the striking NUM miners. The paper was accused of making misleading or even outright false claims about the miners, their unions and Arthur Scargill.

The Sun strongly supported the April 1986 bombing of Libya by the US, which was launched from British bases. Several civilians were killed during the bombing.

THE TRUTH (19 April 1989) – Infamous and baseless headline following the Hillsborough disaster, alleging that Liverpool F.C. fans had attacked policemen while trying to assist the victims of the crush at Hillsborough Stadium, Sheffield. Retracted in 2004.

I'm sorry but this post is for FREE THORPE PARK TICKETS...It is not a hate forum!
You are voting on a DEAL wether it be from The Sun or any newspaper......a deals a deal regardless of where from!
#16
Gota love the sun
#17
There are some very SAD people on here who would rather pay full price for entry rather than spend £1 and get 2 free tickets. At the very least, just recycle the paper or use it for placing food trays on for your pets.

Excellent offer, which obviously trumps the BOGOF vouchers that we all seem to collect each year from Coke Zone. Shame it's a little late for the Summer, as it would have been nice to have gone mid-June/July when the heat was out. Still... the park is open late around the end of October, for fright nights (I'm hoping the tickets are eligible for use on these days).

Heat added.

Great Deal (naff paper - who cares!)

Wonder if these could be used with a BOGOF - wishful thinking I guess, or at very least if one can upgrade at door to fast track.

A little annoyed at date range - if we get a weekday, it counts out the kids. Where's the fun in that?
#20
Great thanks for posting. Cannot get the day off work for the valid date of my Alton Towers tickets so hopefully will do here :)

Anyone thinking of doing this for ebay - DONT! They will withdraw the sale from your account.

There are even more SAD people on here it seems, who would support the Sun with their circulation numbers and in turn advertising revenues - by Selling themselves for a £1 in order to save £75 -
But if you think it's SAD to make a saving at any price why not go down to a dodgy pub & buy the latest HD TV for £20 no questions asked!! - If you want to buy from Scum to save £75 then carry on!
#29
if you dont buy the sun usually and only buy it when they have offers on then surely you would be costing the sun money as it must cost them more than a pound to secure 2 theme park tickets. So only buy the sun when they have offers on and you are actually hurting the sun. Everyone wins, apart from the sun obviously as they will be wanting you to keep on buying their naff paper. great deal, voted hot. i went to alton towers with them and the kids loved it. and i never buy it when the offers are not on.

1 It isn't about hating the Sun it is about Not supporting them with circulation figures and with it sales and advertising revenue. They did not cause events but they DO report on them in a sensational or incorrect way to serve their own purpose - FACT! (something they know little about!) AND took 5 years before retracting the lies that ADDED to misery of grief
2 If 'Jimmy Fingers' in the 'Nag's Head' is selling a HD TV for £20 (no questions asked) would it be right to support him and buy because it is a HOT deal?
3 To 'Get on with it' is like saying - It's already stolen now so I wont be helping the victim by NOT buying it
4 hysterical and crazy bigotry? No I think you are confusing me with a newspaper that writes whatever it likes to influence 7.7m brain dead daily readers who don't let truth get in the way of a good story, A sun reader of course probably would not know the difference between opinion and fact and therefore may be confused by the definition of Bigot

Sorry folks, getting back on topic - it says "All the tokens have to be from different days, you won't be able to pick up tokens from five of the same day paper". Does that mean I could collect my 5 tokens in the first 3 days by buying from the Sun and News of the World each day? We're going away and I don't want to miss out on 1 token!!

Hot from me - some people are just strange; this is a deal about a theme park!!! ...not an opportunity to preach at people who buy the sun (I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t come on here to read posts like that!)

My suggestion? .... You get the tickets and go on a few rides might make you a bit less miserable! (Though I doubt it)
