I hope they bring back the free delivery!

As much as I like ebuyer and their everyday low prices, their sales have traditionally been a little bit rubbish. Voted warm.

must admit their sales are usually a bit ****, and i just found out earlier no more free delivery! wtf do they think they are playing at?
#5
Im missng the free delivery too, Thanks to Amazon reduce its super saving delivery to 5 quid
#6
Anyone got a link to what will be in the sale?
#7
i don't think i'm looking forward for this event.... no free delivery..... other place will be able to match their price easily....

ebuyer have gone down in recent years , i can remember buyin loads open-box items really cheap and 9/10 it was brand new

ebuyer is no more for me - delivery too expensive. They would need to come down with their prices to compensate, which they don't. E.G. Vistron 32" LCD TV was £299 inclusive delivery, now £308.95 inclusive delivery. Do they think we are stupid? Even eBay is moving towards free delivery. It's a bad move ebuyer.

Agreed. Scan for me :) .. Or just get PCworld to pricematch ebuyer, if they have the stock. Their staff are not usually switched on enough to remember shipping in their price matching .

this PC world pricematch lark is interesting , they have a camera i want for £209.99 and ebuyer has the same one ( although different colour ) for £119.97 , would PC world pricematch it even though its not same colour but same model

Worth a try, print out the one from ebuyer, don't mention the colour, as they will try any excuse not to match. Remember to get a 110% pricematch, as they nearly allways try to give you 100%

Price = (119.97 - ((209.99 - 119.97) * 0.1 )) = £ 110.97 :thumbsup:

Same here, I have crossed eBuyer off of my list, no free delivery, no more custom from me.:x

The best way to get a PC World price match is take it to the till and switch on a bit of charm... I managed to get Guitar Hero on the Wii price matched to £39.99, then the 10% ended up being £10 due to the poor maths of the till lady.

Ebuyer still beat people on some items....don't lose faith in them yet

Just read on another thread here that PC World pricematching online retailers may be no more after today :-(

That's only because EBay can't work out how to charge commission on the delivery charge because some people will collect .....

There is no such thing as free delivery, someone has to pay for it. All that happens is the item price is increased to cover it.

Fair comment and very true, however eBuyer have not reduced their prices.

I just like to know that the price I see is the price that I pay.

So no more eBuyer for me.
