It's a shame these regional shops haven't spread their wings yet and reached us folk down South. There is a Home Bargains a mere 25 miles from me, so there's hope yet - lol

They have very similar shop fronts so I think they may be related but there is no mention of this on thier websites

They're not owned by the same company, but Quality Save source all of their stock, bags etc from the company that owns Home Bargains, so they are in effect (of stock and generally prices) the same store.

When I relocated to Yorkshire from the South recently I was excited to finally get to go to a B&M bargains shop rather than just reading about it on hotukdeals. There are a few bargains yes (packet of green tea: 29p for example) but my God there's a lot of tatty non-bargains there as well! I must remember to check out Home Bargains one of these days.

Re your comment of tatty non-bargains backgammon. Isn't this always the case with discount stores. One has to know, or at least believe, that the goods offered are good/reasonable value for the money.
As you know, down south there aren't many discount store chains so when I do venture 'oop north' I always find it rewarding when bargains can be found in what would seem a plentiful supply.

Voted hot because I don't doubt it's about as cheap as it gets for these things, but.....
what is the point of a passport holder?
You invariably have to remove it at border control so why carry a passport around in something which only serves to make it bulkier and causes hassle when you actually need it?
I've already got one so if someone can come up with a rational reason for using it I'd be grateful for the chance of whipping it out (if only because it has the Starfleet logo on it and says "Live long and prosper").

I use my passport holder to store details of the medication (copy of the prescription) that I must take, copies of any visa application to the places I'm visiting, copies of emails I might have sent enquiring about importing goods and my passport of course so that it doesn't get damaged and can't be 'read' when scanned.
After a long and tiring flight the last thing I want is to be unable to come up quickly with proof of anything.

I keep mine naked - hehehe

Passports look better in these covers, mine is in a lovely Radley cover....Worth buying just to annoy passport control when you got through as they hate them...
