Head out on the water with this awesome inflatable kayak. You and a friend can paddle out on to the open water in comfort as you relax back against the inflatable cushion seats setting off on your latest adventure.

Deal went hot at twice the price recently.

Reviews suggest to replace oars straight away though.

And to clarify before the moaners come out - This isn't going to do a professional, but should keep the kids and some adults entertained

I got one of these and used it on a chilly day.

Because I was cold I lit a small fire on one of the seats which unbelievably burst straight away.

It appears you cant have your kayak and heat it :(

HUKD's Argos buying process:-
1/ Oooohh a deal - "I must have one!!"
2/ No stock in nearest store.. "I don't mind driving 5 miles for it'
-No stock there either... "I don't mind driving 10 miles for it"
-No stock there either..."I'm working in London in two days, i'll reserve one there and get it then
3/ Item reserved!!... "YES!! I beat Argos and the other HUKD'ers"
4/ 5 minutes passes.... "Do I really want a cheap nasty Kayak with bad reviews?"
5/ Decide not to bother picking it up!
6/ Click 'NEW' on the deals page and start again

Love this site!! :)

These are great for using out at sea as they come with a bonus of getting a free helicopter ride!

I pretty sure these are the same as the Lidl cravit kayaks. Lidl sell them for £39 (or at least they did last year). They are not brilliant but are good for messing about on the water I used mine on Loch Tay, my local boating pond and the sea before selling and upgrading to savylor ones. The tracking wasn't too bad, they are easy and quick to inflate and obviously easy to transport. Fairly stable too. Please remember safety though and factor in the price of boyancy aids for adults and life jackets for kids.

Reviews aren't great, but I can't help wonder whether the reviews would be better if they had paid £19 rather than £99!

Gotta be worth a go at £20

I agree, must be worth £20

I've been on the lookout for an inflatable kayak. The reviews of this make it sound like it's no more than a kayak shaped li-lo so even at £20 I think I'll give it a miss. Good price if you just want something for the kids to paddle in shallow still water but I don't fancy using this on the sea.

Bought one ....looks like fun but keep the receipt and if it doesn't last just take it back after the holiday and get your money back !!
I think the kids will love it on the river.

I prefer the BBQ version that someone posted on the other thread :p

i would love this type of thing, but the ones i've seen (albeit more expensive) are semi-rigid. This looks completely inflatable (like a bit lilo someone said!), and i dont think it would be that good for 2 adults

Worth a punt for the kids though

It does seem to suggest adults, and the reviews don't seem to be bad for the size / sturdiness. It's the oars that people are moaning about. Argos are really good usually for returns, I'd say try it and see what happens if you are thinking about it.

If anyone is planning to use this on a waterway, I reckon they must need their head testing, (Darwin awards anyone?) for fun on a swimming pool, or shallow water yes, paddling it anywhere, no.

Quality deal, thank you for posting.......will collect later and await fun on the water with the little ones x

Don't?

Seriously, I wouldn't use this even for fun at the beach, it's too unstable, unless the sea is perfectly calm and you make sure that it can't float away.

I can probably beat that shameful figure and I like to think I know a good deal when I see one ! X)

Not sure I'd be paddling this on to "open water" with a mate........unless I was trying to escape from Alcatraz X)

Kids would have great fun with it but I have to say I tend to agree with you. Slightest bit of wind or current and off it goes.....

Having trouble reserving this at my store? :/

Despite the 'was' price, this is not to be confused with kayaks costing more.

Just look at the images of better ones on Amazon.

As mentioned above, fine for the pool at the villa but that's about it.

Spend £19.99 on a Kayak, then drop a few grand on one of these.... you'll probably need it (_;)

Better off with a small dingy, more stable, same problems with floating away though... although if it did float away, it would have more chance of staying afloat than this monstrosity, lol

I was thinking about Mythbusters X) I was thinking I'd prefer to be in their raft made out of raincoats on the sea, rather than this.

I think it's the was £99.99 that's making this hot. For £20 I was going to get one for my son to tool around in, but reviews are a bit off-putting. Plus, Argos RSRP are a joke.
I'm too lazy, but maybe somebody will get the urge to combat this deal with a quality brand offer on e.g. Amazon...

If you knew anything about kayaking you wouldn't buy this. And if you don't know anything about kayaking you shouldn't be buying a kayak.
