Ensure you join EA Access today with PayPal and get your second month FREE.

To receive your free month of EA Access you must pay with PayPal.

Some might find this worthwhile, especially with BF1 coming up and I believe Mirror's Edge is being added to the vault?

Plus there's a chance to win an Xbox One S too! Ooooooooo :)

I wonder how long this offer will be on - can't seem to find details. Have Gears of War 4 arriving today so would probably want to hold off for a week.

Looks like this is on until 10th November.

how do you stop the subscription? it'll be set to take 3.99 each month
4 Likes #5
Quick summary to answer any questions:

You need to buy the first month of EA Access with PayPal via the offer link.

You'll be able to cancel the subscription from http://commerce.microsoft.com and going to the "subscriptions" section.

The free month of EA Access will be sent to you via a code within 28 days of initial purchase (rather than being automatically applied by PayPal). If you wish to only pay for 1 month, then you would need to cancel before the first month comes to an end.

Offer ends at 23:59 on November 10th.

Everyone who participates in the offer gets put into a raffle to win an Xbox One S console - there's only 1 winner which will be drawn after the offer closes.

suppose it's good if you want to try it out but in the long term the 12months for £19.99 is £4 cheaper.

used to have xbox 360. now on ps4 but planing on buying xbox one s soon ish. so how is ea access different to xbox gold.

i know you get free games with gold and you get to play online.

do you need xbox gold to get ea access?

what more does ea access give you over gold? do you get games as well?

EA Access isn't comparable or relatable to Xbox Live Gold. If i'm correct, you don't specifically need XBLive Gold to access EA's service but you'll need this subscription to access EA Access.

EA Access is just games - £20/year you get unlimited access to the games within the vault and what's there along with some other premium benefits.

It's a separate service, not related to XBLive.

But just to complicate matters, you'll need Xbox Live Gold to play any of the games online right? Haha

You do need Xbox Live for EA Access to play online (obviously), but at this price or even its RRP of £3.99 a month, it's worth its weight in gold. It currently offers -

Battlefield 4
FIFA 14
Madden NFL 25
Peggle 2
Need for Speed Rivals
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
EA Sports UFC
NBA Live 15
Madden NFL 15
NHL 15
FIFA 15
Titanfall
Dragon Age: Inquisition
Battlefield Hardline
Madden NFL 16
Plants vs. Zombies
NHL 16
Dead Space
FIFA 16
Rory McIlroy PGA Tour
NBA Live 16
Need for Speed
Unravel
SSX
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
Bejeweled 2 Deluxe
Zuma Deluxe
Feeding Frenzy
Heavy Weapon
Feeding Frenzy 2
Bejeweled 3

And soon to be Star Wars Battlefront, EA Sports UFC 2 & Mirror's Edge Catalyst .

I paid about £15 from Hungary.

Assume it's only new customers with the word join in the OP? I would have gladly extended my membership with this offer. Still can't complain as I have my sub via the Hungary store so only pay £15 odd per year...

There's no mention in the terms (link above in comment #3) about it being for new customers only. I've only just re-joined the Xbox community so I don't know about bolt-ons but I can't see anything to say existing subscribers can't use this?!

£3.99 x 12 = £47.88. (-£3.99 for the free month) = £43.89. Or, you pay £19.99 for the full year. Think that's a little more the £4 cheaper by my maths :{

Find it quite strange/sad that they don't have all the Dead Space games on there!

Or Mass Effect :(

Just pay the £20 annual price, that works out at £1.66 per month and is worth every penny.

Will happen eventually...
Initially EA Access was for the EA Sports games, but they're gradually rolling out the other titles.
