Short breaks at a clifftop hotel in Scarborough -- where World War I poet Wilfred Owen wrote some of his most famous works -- have been reduced by 55%. The price is now £59 per person including extras.
The 2-night stay is at the Clifton Hotel which overlooks Scarborough's vast North Bay. The price includes a 3-course dinner on each night (worth £25 per person, per night), Full English breakfast and an exclusive 'Happy Hour' (4pm-6pm) with 50% off drinks. Guests will also get a 2-for-1 voucher to Scarborough's Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary.
Extra nights can be added for £27.50 per person and upgrades to a Sea View Room are available for £10 per room, per night.
The hotel is near Scarborough's Peasholm Park, featuring canoes and pedaloes on its lake.
This offer is valid for stays Sunday-Thursday until 30 June. Stays 1-21 July are an additional £14 per person. Friday and Saturday stays are available for a supplement of £10 per person, per night.
