Ok, so the games on offer are not gonna blow anyone away, but it is still a good deal for stocking up, perhaps for birthday pressies etc if they are no good to you. Chances are your niece/nephew/godson/daughter won't care too much about game quality (depending on how old they are of course...!)

The Hut currently have a selection of games at sale price, they start at £9.93 each (King Kong, Zendoku, Contact, Totally Spies 2 to name a few)

Just pick 2 at that price, use the 5% voucher (only valid on orders over £15) and hey presto...you're done.

Be aware that many of the games on offer are on a 2-4 week waiting time....so no good if you are in a hurry!

Thanks for the constructive comments....

As I stated in my original post I never claimed that they were top quality, and if you bothered to do a quick review search of most of the games you would see they have got fairly decent ratings.

If you're expecting the likes of Zelda and Mario Kart for that price then you are definitely living in la-la land.....have fun with the fairies over there :p

I have just got a DS lite for my 6 year old son. Any recommendations on what games to buy\avoid and where the best place to generally buy them?
Thanks

My 6yr old son got one for Xmas and the two games he got are superb - Mario Kart DS and Super Mario Bros. Definitely buy both, they'll keep him occupied for a long time!

This the the type of typical reply this web-sites been getting lately. Childish and sarcastic!!

He/she finds a deal which others may not find, posts it to help others and this is what you get. Maybe the regulators should add to the vote HOT/COLD tag a SLAG IT OFF option.

Personally I've been looking for DS games since christmas and appricate any posts with such offers. If its what I want I'll order if not I enjoy looking. Keep this great webbie a friendly one!

http://www.gamesearchuk.com/ - good price comparison site

there are also loads of review sites such as...http://uk.gamespot.com/ds/index.html?tag=header;logo

and...http://nds.gamezone.com/

amongst others, these may help you a bit, also find out from your sons pals etc what they have and look them up on there, at least you can find out how suitable they are for him that way!;-)

Yeah I find the suggestion that you should give kids **** games pretty insulting.

Why on earth do people take the time to rubbish deals like this? Have they really got nothing better to do? 9 quid a pop for DS games isn't a shabby price even if the games aren't grade A. I can also say, from experience, that my idea of a good game doesn't always mean the same as a 12 yr old's idea. Grow up.look at the price and make your own decision.

The prices aren't great though, they're poor quality games that can be bought fairly cheaply elsewhere too.

Others are cheaper too, and with the DS region free it's not that expensive to import games. Good quality games like Mario Kart DS. I'd rather pay that price for one great game than 2 below average ones.

If you can afford to fork out up to £30 a time, then fair play to you.

Not everyone has that kind of money to throw away each time their child pesters them for a new game... hence the reason these are considered a bargain....

Mario Kart DS and New Super Mario Bros. are two of the best DS games out, and in no way should be regarded as ****
