Think I might go for Disney's Treasure Planet on DVD. At £99.99 it's a bit too expensive at the moment, but with £2 off it's a bargain!

You've clearly missed the fact its free delivery so a bargain really. :p

Does anyone think that this offer can be combined with the ongoing voucher?

Probably only signed up a year ago ~ before that using as a guest!;-)

I haven't used CD-Wow for ages, since they had their 'problems' with the BPI a while ago.

I assume, they are hunky dory again now?
#11
usually they're more than £2 dearer so I always ditch their emails
#12
Do you reckon this has already started? There are a few DVDs for £1.99 (all pants mind you!) but this would make them free?!
#13
Don't forget Your Quidco @ 4%

Can we trust these guys? I've had pirate copies off them before, luckily the dvd was of good quality so the dodgy inlay card was no big deal, but I haven't used them since.

just took £1 off

Strange? I have had imports from them as in asian market CDs definately "official" though, not pirates, you mention you have had pirate(s) plural and that the DVD was of good quality..do you mean one or more and what were the pirated good(s) ? Why didnt you contact CD Wow?

Their terms and conditions state as an international supplier they may supply goods according to that, so especially when ordering CDs you may get a US or Asian Market release, but should never get pirates.

Some of the links on this do not work

Yep if you remember this time last year the site was redesigned, so I signed up to use the new custom RSS feed feature!

Yes, and yet I have had the email stating £2 off everything, damn them.
#21
think the title needs to be amended to '£1 off' rather than £2...
#22
I just tried to go to the site and it's not coming up at all. Will check back in a few minutes to see what's up ....

Perhaps it will take a while for the change to go through, its only been 5mins. Have they used false advertising before?
#25
Mmm

£2 would have been good.
#26
so they've changed nothing then, was taking £1 off anyway.
#27
It was only £1 off when the site updated as I was surfing them when the prices dropped about 8.30, I just checked again and still only a pound. Thought it might update to the promised £2 in there email at 10am like they said, but no.

Still out of the 11 dvds I ordered in the last £2 off link, I only got 2 and still waiting on a refund for the rest over a week later. Out of stock emails despite them still being in stock at higher prices

I got Metallica's latest - Death Magnetic - from CD Wow and the front inlay looked like it was done on a home printer, while the sticker on the CD itself was of high quality. I'm not sure whether it was a pirate or just an import from a country where they obviously have poor standards!

I know in some Eastern countries it's difficult to buy genuine CDs at all, with even shops carrying fakes.

I've never ordered anything from CD WOW and after reading some of the comments posted here, I don't think I ever will.

I came into work today and found my copy of My Neighbour Totoro from CDWOW, cost me £5.99.

Used to buy from them all the time, but my last two orders have been cancelled by them after weeks of waiting for them to be delivered. Wouldnt buy with them anymore, would rather pay more and shop on hmv or play.com

I've ordered The Mummy trilogy box set for £16.99 which I don't think is a bad price.
