Went to Asda this afternoon and they have lowered all their milk prices for next couple of days. 2 pints was 10p! Mine had use by the 3rd Jan. This was the Plymouth store.

This is probably store specific - The andover store did this the other day with Muller Yogurts down to 25p then 15p. It will be because they have an excess in the warehouse and need to sell it through. Less of a loss to get something for it rather than to have to 'waste' it all.

On offer. They said over the speaker its on all milk for next couple of days. Bargain! Different sizes were also available on offer eg 6 pints was 30p and i think 4 pints was 20p, all in all 5p a pint....can't go wrong!

Maybe ring your local in the morning if you can get instore. I can imagine they have done it as they probably have a massive stock and what with shorter opening hours / closed certain days and they won't be able to shift it all!

Yeah mainly in chocolate form :whistling:

I was in Asda this arvo and the milk was not on offer so I guess it is just specific to your store, probably due to excess stock to shift.

I think he's trying to be smart!

sorry, but this is a daft post.
reduced price produce is going to be expected in certain stores who cant shift it quick enough
so its not a deal and its definately not nationwide.
its just as stupid if i pick up a loaf of bread for 10p and posting it on here!

But its all milk, all sizes and for *a couple of days* hardly a one off bargain from the bargain basket!

maybe a couple of days in your store if they have enough then yes. but if some one buys a whole load today and theyrun out of the short dated milk. then its highly unlikely there gonna sell long dated milk at this price as its not really a promotion

this is similar to someone who posted 75% off fresh salmon at 3pm Christmas Eve :(

Not as much as a mate of mine I bet, he drank 5 x 2 litre bottles in one day a few weeks ago, he loves milk a bit too much it's unhealthy! He spends around £1,500 a year on milk alone and he doesn't even work. He has tried to cut down but he is addicted to the stuff.

They had quite a few in the Oldbury store in West Midlands - grabbed about 8 of them. then drank it all by making a milkshake or a pint for breakfast lol

The milk in the St Helens store was definately not this price, was all full price :-(
