Organised animal cruelty.

It's appears a cheap night out, so no doubt some will vote on that basis, but I have seen enough of the overspill of misery dog racing produces.

Apart from the fact that it's just another way to entice people to gamble which causes enough misery on it's own, (and that's where they aim to get their money from, so bang goes the idea of it being a cheap night out!), I suspect many otherwise reasonable people haven't realised the level of mistreatment that goes on, and see it only in relation to a cheap meal, so rather than post links here, I would suggest that before booking those reasonable people do a bit of homework on it, and look at the work being done by Greyhound rescue groups - by internet searching and also Youtube has content to look at.

The unreasonable people are now going to flame me profusely, and the Trolls will come flooding in trying to goad anyone expressing an opinion wither way, buffoons will pop up and try to make "witty" jokes about a subject that isn't funny so it is pointless discussing it here, so I won't, but reasonable people who weren't aware of the problems will soon come to their own conclusions.

As for being a cheap night out? Well, it would be if you don't gamble, don't drink, and don't get involved in the racing, in which case, you might as well spend the money you will end up spending at a venue that has a more pleasant intent.

Gambling is not bad if you can afford it, what is worse spending £5 a week on betting on the football, or smoking 20 a day.

I agree.

They should be using real rabbits.

At least we would get a bit of blood for our money.

And your superior and supercilious tone is as vomit inducing as it is pointless.

Not been for a while myself but the queues at the food are usually massive and you end spending ages waiting for an overcooked burger in a dry bun. Personally i'll be eating before i go and taking up the offer of a cheap drink.
#28
Looks good haven't been there in a long time, might have to make a trip down there in the week with these offers :-D
