uniross ready to use batterie

" Recently I purchased several of these uniross ready to use aa batteries that according to the description comes ready to use and are pr-charged and hold their charge for long storage.
When i put them in my torch and child!s toy , they did not work at all, I then checked the batteries with a test meter and all the batteries showed zero voltage.I re-checked with a different meter and still zero voltage.
For this type of battery to have no voltage, I wonder how long they have been in storage, and more importantly, have these rechargeable batteries been damaged by being in this state for so long.
I have used these types of batteries in the past and even after long long storage have still showed a healthy voltage. "

sure i have seen something about the voltages being odd in kids toys and they need the higher amount alkalines initially provide to work.
that said they have been around forever almost!

1 in stock in Stockton, if that's any use to anyone.
It's not worth me going out of my way to get it.

I had an order conformation last night but when I look on my account it says processing then if I look at the order it says unavailable.
Is this the normal way with a screwfix online order?(no cancellation email yet)
My collection time is from 12.30 Weds.
