Reviews look promising, I've stayed nearby to here before and it did not disappoint

Cuba is a must see!
9 bars, 6 restaurants, 2 pools...

If you want to go on excursions to the surrounding local area, buy pens, pencils, colouring books etc in the UK and give them to the local children. The smile on their faces is priceless :)

The title is misleading, it should state 'each' or 'per person'

Or go and see it without staying in an all-inclusive hotel, put some money into the local hotels and restaurants, not large international hotel chains and actually see the country, not just a beach.

Plus, giving pens and sweets to the local kids encourages them to skip school and pester tourists for stuff...

Each to their own though... I just don't see why you'd go to such a fascinating place as Cuba and stay in a resort?

Also - Americans can go there, just fly from Mexico.

I've been to Cuba 4 times and absolutely love it. Be sure to take the approx 90minute bus journey to Havana for a great day out or even spend the night there.
U.S citizens are permitted to go to Cuba but only as part of a organised tour group. They can indeed visit independently via Mexico but be careful that the Mexican embassy don't stamp any "Cuba" entries in you're passport

* sorry I mean "Cuba embassy" don't stamp you're passport

I stayed here in 2012. Nice place. The beach is amazing. It's a bit remote though.

Hi Craig. I think it's longer than 90 minutes from here to Havana. A couple we knew went to Havana first before joining us and they had to catch a flight. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
